Nights are the most scariest for me. My mind just cannot stop thinking over nasty things. My body craves for rest, but my mind doesn't shut off. Somehow with great effort I've tried to get my timings straight nowadays, but still just before I go to bed I start feeling anxious and scared that I might again end up sleep deprived today😔

I remember my religious education teacher was asked about this is high school. What he basically said was:

During the day we all wear masks, to seem fine to other people, and those masks can, most of the time, even fool ourselves. However at night, when no one is around, those masks come off, and the shield you had drops.

It stuck with me even though he said it more than 3 years ago.

EDIT: Of course this isn't the same for everyone, but is just a general statement that is true for a lot of people, including myself.
