“Feelings are much like waves, we can't stop them from arising but we can choose which one to surf.”

I often find that I’ll realize I’m in a good mood at a random time for no reason, when I can’t think of a reason to be happy it goes away and back to despair 😔

Thank you for making this, I am currently going through a stressful divorce and I have ridden the wave of so many emotions. Thank you for putting emotions in perspective.

Your channel is like a mean of adding salt and pepper to our thoughts as we are overthinkers, it’s such a stimulation to our imagination and therefore internal conflicts

Keeping our daily behaviour constant can keep mood swings at bay. When I'm exercising daily, I've something to cling to, to feel that way daily, mostly good. When my morning is messed up with no proper routine, I'm very much prone to mood swings. Keeping disciplined life is key to not experiencing wide mood swings..

I think a lot of people are not necessarily worried about the emptiness and the pointlessness of life as such, also not too worried about the unavoidable darkness of nonexistence after death; but much more about feeling wasted, not fulfilling their potential, not being able to do what they want in their brief time alive and not having the experiences they crave while they (potentially) can.

It took me a long time to understand that feelings are ment to add to your life not control it.

Thanks for providing the captions in Portuguese, my wife’s still learning English and it’s quite difficult to her to be able to understand everything on the moment, we appreciate the effort.

People give way too much attention to their thoughts.
In result, this is what stimulates 'mood swings.'

Your mood is your emotional intelligence. For every situation there is a correct action that leads to the proper operation of these planes we flew here with. Your emotions is a manual with a language of how to operate these planes based on action(mind speaking) and reaction(heart feeling) in a language you were given an entire world with endless amounts for you to feel and think your way through. You have arrived at your destiny. Enjoy your stay! And don't forget ro share the joy.

Choose the right mood that serves you and your mood is no longer moodiness to others but a good mood you both now can share. Preach the gospel of good news, your mood will be your reporter of what your message is relaying.

I used to suffer from constant mood changes, it was very hard to keep relationships and goals working that way.

I confirm that having a good philosophy for dealing with life is a big step, but in the meantime, just having a routine, a good night sleep, exercise everyday, eat low-sugar/natural food, and write your thoughts seems to do the trick with maintaining the energy levels and remain calm in adversity.

Thank you for the video!❤

I have Mixed Bipolar 1 Disorder a.k.a. Rapid-cycling Manic-Depression. I can go from a murderous rage to deadly suicidal despair in as little as ten minutes. I am on medicine for this. However, as your video points out, I have learned that these moods are transient. Eventually they will go away until the next cycle. Cycles come for many reasons and often no reason. One thing I have taught myself over the years is a positive attitude. I take joy in a cold, snowy day or a warm summer day. Birds chirping (NOT playing squirrels, a nice book or piece of music, perhaps a good video like your channel -these make for a happy attitude. I often pretend to be happy even when I am not. It's contagious. I bid folks a happy day -and mean it. When I was Christian (Mormon), I feared whether I had made God happy. Now, as an atheist, I just AM happy and take life in stride. I realize that some day I will be dead -no big deal. So one's attitude about life can frequently mitigate the ferocity of mood swings.
