Thank you for exposing this. I am a physical therapist and it is exhausting trying to un-educate people on this misinformation. Many times just a way to ensure they keep coming back for more adjustments to "fix" their spine. We need EVIDENCE BASED MEDICINE.

This is what scares me about chirocrackers!!! My dad is a DO like you are and he told me in residency back in the day about the lack of respect for DOs. He had someone come in the ER and a superior attending doc told him there was a patient with back pain. This MD said it sounded like he needed snap, crackle, and pop. My dad examined him and felt the ticking time bomb of an aortic aneurism and said how he needed surgery which he did.

Thank you for doing this. I have severe lower back issues due to military service. It was recommended that I go to a Chiropractor before I look at surgery. I was referred to a highly rated or what I thought was highly rated chiropractor.

Looking back there were a lot of red flags, and after a year of treatment and over 32, 000 in bills I now have to have more extensive surgery for the damage done by the chiropractor.

I’m sure there are good chiropractors out there, but I’m hearing more stories of bad ones than good ones.

As someone with scoliosis, I actually just watched his shorts. I screamed at every crack aka adjustment. I have to watch someone from physio background to assure myself that I don't need those. 😅 I think I prefer my back strengthening exercises. Although, my scoliosis hasn't straightened, it hasn't gone worse either for the past 20 years. I think and hopefully so I'll manage the next 20 or more years without "adjustment".

Guys I just started seeing an upper cervical chiropractor for cervical instability. I am paying $3000 for this. Am I being scammed?
I heard the upper cervical chiropractors are way better than average chiropractors.
My current upper cervical chiropractor has recommended 1 exercise but only after I asked him if there were any exercises that could help.
