Do you remember the chiropractor joke I told you? It was about a week back.

5:50 I think that was Goldberg and not Stone Cold Steve Austin. Nonetheless it’s very informative!

That's not Stone Cold Steve Austin. That's Goldberg, another legend.

My chiropractor is also a neurologist and has always been very straight forward about chiropractics’ limitations. He does adjustments, hot/cold treatments, electrodes/ultrasound (?), and then gives a series of stretches and exercises to do at home. His goal is increased mobility and loosened areas that were putting pressure on nerves. He’s very intentional with his treatments.
His advice has changed how I weight train and has helped me to reduce pain OVER TIME. My back muscles were constantly seizing/spasming and after 3 general doctors and other chiropractors, he was the only person to give me relief without pills or exaggerated promises. Basically, he loosened me up and trained me how to take better care of myself.

I've actually been to his practice in Albuquerque and you got it right when you said that his videos are very different from his practice. The providers he works with are all very professional and my experience there was akin to going to a PT who also felt comfortable doing adjustments. Gotta get that YouTube money though, and the hammer/tight pants definitely does it.

Hey Dr. Chris Raynor, respectfully wanted to ask why'd you delete my comment? I left a comment here asking for you if you could comment on one of Beau Hightower's videos (*ICU NURSE* gets PAINFUL SHOULDER BLADE RESET), I mentioned how at the 19:20 mark to 22 minute mark of that video, the patient mentioned she had some lower back pain. BH has her lay on her belly and lift her legs up, showing limited range of motion. After using the hammer on her lower back you see a very notable/prominent change in the range of motion in the patient's legs (can lift her legs much higher/more easily). I asked if you could comment and you never did, but looks like you deleted my comment altogether? Was looking forward to understanding for my learning/an orthopedic surgeons thoughts. Big fan of all your videos

This is what I watch your channel for. You don't just slam someone for content. You back everything up with how and why and are even willing to say "We don't know yet". I think the last part is import for people to hear so they know that medical science is always growing and learning.

After weight lifting for a number of years, about a year ago I started suffering with a really tight lower back. Couldn’t work out why as I hadn’t injured my back. Went to a physical sports therapist and it turned out the tightness in my lower back was caused by weak hamstrings (probably due to sitting at a desk most of the day) and my hamstrings had shortened and weakened over time. I focused more on training my legs and particularly in stretching and strengthening my hamstrings and bingo, my lower back tightness and pain went away. The relief is indescribable. I can stand for long periods without any discomfort now. If you’ve ever suffered from lower back pain/tightness you’ll know how much it can take from your life. 💪🏻

11:39 💯I had 8 knee accidents (5 Patella Luxations), playing football, skiing etc. The overall effect was so bad that my knee even in a normal daily burden, collapsed. It became better because I started with specific leg and muscle training, after rehab, prescribed by an orthopedist and accident surgeon. My last knee accident was years ago. Training and a Lifestyle-Change is the best treatment to prevent pain and accidents. Chiropractic aggravated my knee, because of the extra burden and wrong advices. If you guys have issues, go to a real doc, a specialist, that is why they exist.
I also have good experience with Chiropractics though, but also very bad ones. If you have muscle or fascia problems, a Chiropractic is a good fit, if you have joint problems, you should go to a doctor or specific medical specialist.
Love your channel, greetings from Germany.

I was always told by my dad who knew a few neurosurgeons that said to NEVER go to chiropractors. The neurosurgeons spoke of how many people they had to work on that had came to them specifically because of Chiropractic adjustment injuries. And the horror stories of people being paralyzed or otherwise crippled by chiropractors. They saw absolutely no value in it. I later in life had some pain at work and we had a "nurse" which was more or less just trained in treating athletic injuries in my work place that I went to see. She suggested I go visit a chiropractor and I just couldn't shake the warnings from the neurosurgeons and also the fact that I'd recently seen where chiropractors were considered alternative medicine and their history is more or less cult based. She was absolutely shocked to hear such things spoken about chiropractors.

I don’t know if that was a wicked burn to Goldberg. Or if he really can’t tell stone cold and Goldberg apart

11:25 Don’t think anyone with a head on their shoulders would disagree with that.

You emphasize “temporary” relief from an adjustment, as if you are trying to minimize the effects of the fact that he is helping someone. Then you go on to say that humans undergo constant life stress, such as gravity, trauma, and in Dr. Hightowers case, MMA fighters. Makes sense why relief is temporary. Its not like you can turn off gravity or just live this perfect life with no trauma. Majority of the population in this current time is sitting most of the day, or working demanding jobs.

I feel like youre using your prefix as a DR, sarcasm and eye rolling to fit your bias narrative . I wonder how much your surgery cost, makes sense that you would try to put down another profession because they just might have found a less invasive and more effective way of doing your job, which is ultimately to release pain.
