Always good to hear your thoughtful and logical analysis. I think we are entering a crab market Personally. We will still get our pumps and dumps but based purely on what the Fed are doing. That being said, as traders we are still make good money Thanks to Jeff Erno for his amazing skills/signals which helped me earn 12 Btc through daily trading chart..

I wouldn't buy any REITS now...everything is going lower!

Hey Kyle that’s strange my original reply was removed. Hey Kyle I said I own REI.UN and also own RS.to by Middlefield group which is the only split fund reit and it pays 0.13 per share. Over 10% yield monthly. I would look at buying Smart Centres if it dips below $24. Thanks great video liked it.

Nothing like investing into REITs during these high inflationary times, appreciate all the content - keep it up!

What are your thoughts on Slate Office REIT? It has been paying solid dividends for years. It seems to be a good one...

Many people in the comments are afraid to buy. Prices getting lower and markets crashing are a good thing if you are reinvesting the dividends. You are buying more shares at a lower price thus increasing your income at the expense of a lower market value. Five years from now all those shares you bought at lower prices provides you with more income. The caveat of course is as long as the companies are still solid.

The wisest thing that should be on everyones mind currently, should be. To invest in different streams of income that doesn't depend on the government, especially with the current economic crisis around the world.

never understood the rio can argument as their price has been historically pretty flat, their yield isn’t that high and doesn’t grow very much. I do like your argument about their market cap being low though…

I own medical properties trust, Slate grocery and inovalis which has European exposure and a nice dividend.

I think investing in REITs is a great idea BUT property prices are dropping significantly. Much of the property market has been over inflated for a long time and people are no longer prepared to pay such extortionate prices. I'd wait a year or so before going in. This feeds directly into rental income, the higher the price of the property the more you have to ask your tenants to pay to cover costs etc. Plus if investors are telling everyone else about it you can bet your bottom $ they've had the best returns now to let the suckers pay for the downturn

RS.TO and you can own all of those REITs and make more money.

You said for every 10 grand you put in you get 680 monthly. What? That is only $680 a year, not monthly. Also, REITs are going to be a falling knife until the global recession is over. No more free Fed Put to save them this time.

Rents skyrocketing in the urban areas as the well qualified buyers get pushed out of buying and into rentals. They are the ones bidding up rents....of course that means low income renters will be the ones left out as there aren't enough to go around.

And lotsa airchair QBs on the internet think real estate prices will go down the 'dividend' from said properties due to high rents goin up quickly. When bank stocks raise divvies 50% does the stock go up or down??? Serious question to the doom and gloomers.

Why all canadian reits crash vs usa reits?

Everything is priced in the market, Always has been and always will. Why are they trading below NAV? Because market expects NAV to go down...assets are inflated out of this world and fiat currency is turning into monopoly money, numbers inflating until it doesnt make sense anymore. Piece of bread for a thousand dollar, could you Imagine that? I can Imagine that. Weimar germany can also imagine that. The only reason im investing is because we have no choice, money will become conpletely useless
