Just an in between step I just discovered. I did the inside fill valve stuff and still no pressure. I then wrestled with the silver coil in back but couldn't get it off. As I was giving up and putting everything back together I decided to try sticking a bamboo skewer down the small opening in the fill valve and water gushed out. So this little extra step helped me avoid undoing the silver coil.

Worked for me. I used needle nose pliers to remove plug. Plug could be "reamed" out and re-inserted if you need to control flow. I did not put it pack in. The fill tube that goes to over flow tube for filling tank, now has pressure so high it prevents plunger from going down to plug tank. I just left the fill tube float "free" and fill the tank. Works fine! I went from 5:42 fill time to :30 sec fill time!

I did this tonight. The city is tearing up and replacing all our plumbing in west Hollywood area for three month's they turn off the water anytime. I'm so grateful for your video. Ours would not refill after step 1 it worked. 10 mins or less troubleshooting. 🤔 😊 😃

Thanks to your excellent video I was able to fix the toilet problem. The tank used to take 2 min 24 sec to refill.
I removed a small rock from the water hose and now it takes 1 min to refill. Thank you!!

The only video that worked! My toilet kept hissing, it filled very slowly- and didnt have enough water to flush. but once i removed the top of the valve, i noticed tiny gunk easily removed with tweezers inside the tiny holes on the surface of the fill valve, and i wiped off gunk from the cap. It now fills up more easily, quicky, and consistently. Thanks.

Thanks for helping me diagnose the problem with the toilet in my mom's bathroom. I ran through all steps and turns out it was a faulty gasket in the refill unit's cap. Remove the gasket. Works fine. Cleaned and replaced the gasket. Slow drip. Removed the gasket again. Works fine. Gonna try my hardware store to find a replacement. If not, I'll have to replace the whole unit. No worries either way. Thanks again!

Ok, I'm back with my review of the information herein this video... Lol. Quick 3 minute fix...? Yes and No. Everything you posted worked. However, Apparently I have some other issue with the washer/pin. When I follow your instructions, the toilet flushes only once correctly then reverts back to 15 min fill up. There does not appear to be any debris in the system. It appears to be caused by the pin not pushing/pulling the washer. I've no idea how to fix that. So, for those watching/reading here, if your system is full of debris, the information in the video may work. That's all I got for now. Thanks all. Thumbs up👍

As soon as you said you had water maintenance on your street I knew this was what we needed as they've been redoing all our water lines for several months now!! We only needed to do the first two steps of rinsing those little inside filters on the fill kit and working perfect again!! Very impressive!
