Amen! It is truly a blessing to know this wonderful brother in the Lord. They will know you are my disciples by how you show LOVE one for ANOTHER. If the world sees you fighting, then they are justified to avoid your fellowship, right? If they see works and acts of kind deeds, that are out of the cultural customs and norms, will they not see a LIGHT they are not used to seeing. Thank you, Lord, for bringing this breath of fresh air to Redeemer Bible Church in Gilbert. Pray for Pastor David, that God's hand will be on him, to keep him and his family, and to carry out and on the ministry of the Lord in Arizona.

What I don't get is why everybody doesn't want to keep Gods sabbath and fight and make excuses just to keep man made Sunday sabbath.What would love do? Follow the lords sabbath day and not act like it doesn't matter and keep it holy.

Jesus kept the seventh day Sabbath and taught in the church on Sabbath

The seventh day Sabbath is the Sabbath of the Lord your God

It is a memorial that Jesus is our Creator

Jesus said if you love Me keep my commandments

Be doers of the Word and not hearers only

Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. [15] For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

The curse is the penalty of the law - Jesus took the penalty of death. The new covenant Jesus said He would write the law on our hearts and minds.
The law still stands.

There is no commandment in scripture to worship Christ on Sunday. All Christians after Christ's resurrection worshipped Him on Sabbath. All the disciples worshipped on Sabbath, including other days and Sunday. Sunday was instituted by Rome Constantine, who persecuted jews and sabbath keeping Christians. This caused early Christians out of fear of persecution by Rome to comprise their faith and accept 'SUN- day' worship! The 10 commandments have NOT changed! Remember to keep the Sabbath holy.

I found this quite disappointing, and not Biblically based. I too used to go to church on Sundays, and had the same reasons (about celebrating the resurrection), until I was confronted by someone about the Sabbath. Then I started really studying this out, in the Bible, and saw right from Creation, through to after Jesus, in the early church, they worshipped on Sabbath (what we call Saturday). The ‘new covenant’ reason is really irrelevant: I don’t see any Christian tossing out the other nine commandments; just the 4th one about which day to worship, which was the day Jesus worshipped on. I want to do what Jesus did, so I will stick with Sabbath.

It’s HUMAN „WISDOM“ to create something else / not to follow the fathers instructions !!

HE knows, what’s the BEST for us -

Never says in the Bible for us to do this tho. Jesus keeps the Sabbath so did Paul. You’re teaching us not biblical brother, I pray that the Truth will be revealed to you

Its called "sun" you also call Lord's day! Can't anybody else see the connection? The Romans were sun worshipper before their king accepted Christianity. The king changed some of the aspect of Christianity so that it becomes easier for the people to accept the new religion. This is also why the birthdate of Jesus was changed to 25th December on the day of celebration of new sun! Later, this was the reason why bible had to be revised to cover up ! And this is also why Roman Catholics banned many other sects of Christianity.
