Why Do Jews and Christians Have Different Sabbath Days?

God never changes, He is the same yesterday, today, and forever! Jesus kept the Sabbath on Friday sunset to Saturday sunset, so did his disciples. As a Christian I will follow His example. We ought to obey God rather than man. There is no where in the Bible that states Sunday is the sabbath day!

God said "Remember" the Sabbath. Friday sunset to Saturday sunset. Sunday can't just become the Lord's day. God never blessed and hallowed Sunday. You just proved Saturday is Sabbath from your explanation.

The Sabbath day can’t be exactly the same for everyone. If the entire world were Christians and everyone took off the exact same day imagine the amount of people who would pass away because ERs would be closed, EMS would not be available, hospitals themselves would be shut down. The fact that it is a Covenant with God shows that it is God and not a day that is locked in place. For one person it can be Friday evening to Saturday evening. For another it can be Sunday, for another it can be a Wednesday. All that matters is the day is a day of rest and centered around worshipping God.

I am Christian SDA and we keep the Sabbath. So not all Christians changed the Sabbath into Sunday. I wish this was discussed more rather than generalise a group of religions.

The Sabbath is Saturday! Always has been and always will be!

Where in the Bible that it says that Jesus wants us to follow his resurrection as the Sabbath day? It just bothers me that there was no basis for such Sunday as the new Sabbath day. Nothing in the Bible. Not even Jesus mentioned that we should follow Sunday... It was just changed by man.

Protestants worship only on one day. I was told by a priests years ago The Catholic church worships EVERYDAY. We have Sabbath 7 days a week! The Catholic church has continuously performed a mass every minute somewhere in the world for 2 thousand years. It is an unbroken line of worship.
