I was a State Farm customer for over 20 years and they just kept raising my rates. I found out later that I was paying for everyone else who got into accidents. I'm sick of insurance companies. I pay almost 5k a year for full coverage on 4 cars. I hadn't had an accident in over 30 years yet people like myself with great credit scores and no accidents get dinged. Now, I don't care. I think your comment on staying with the same agent doesn't work either. It just doesn't because now it's all about the numbers. I then said forget it. I will jump from agent to agent and find the cheapest because they leave me no choice. Now, they have all these apps one could try but even they're a wash. The other thing they do is they'll strong arm you into bringing over your home to get your discounts then after the first six months or time for renewal, they will RAISE the heck out of your policy to make up for those six months. I'm just done with it. I've lived long enough to know that loyalty simply doesn't matter in this business.
