Better advice is to combine different carb sources pre-workout. Like combining a starchy carb with a sugary one. like bread and fruit. This way the carbs go through different transporters when being absorbed and lead to a more balanced release of energy :). This isn’t necessary but thought I’d say it here because I tend to notice a difference in energy levels during a workout when I do this, overall this is still good straight to the point advice

thanks for laying all the info out‼️ there’s so many factors between calorie numerics, macronutrient balancing, and recovery from muscle stimuli/micro-tearing. it’s nice when refreshers are to-the-point

My go to is Greek yogurt and granola mix with some chocolate chips after my workouts

I have an amazing story. One day I was driving home and I felt the presence of the Lord, come down to me from above. It was as real as anything and I felt so comfortable with Him.
I knew if I asked Him to play a song on the radio, He would.
So I said "Ok Lord, play Come as you are..."
I didn't know what station it was on or anything, but I turned the radio on and the song started playing right on the spot, perfectly...
I started getting flooded with chills inside, trembling, and crying tears of joy. When I got home, He stayed with me for 10 minutes till I got out of the car.

I've been getting amazing prayers answered for around 6 years since, because that experience made me stop doubting when I pray, and I follow Biblical instructions, best I can.

As a novice gym goer (started in September, aside from days where I have to work 12 hour shifts I try to do a six-five day split) currently, I appreciate you and your help.

Pre-work- Whey protein, banana, 1 tbsp Udos.

PostWorkout- 8oz yam or potato and 2 bananas. Then I eat a meal within an hour.

Super helpful as a beginner in the gym and am trying to slowly get into a well rounded diet. Thanks for this i’ll be sure to keep this in mind

for me pre workout i have a 20g protein bar and drink half a bottle of water immediately and then post i have a protein shake and then 30-45 minutes later i have a meal(chicken, beef or pork, ect)

TOP TIER WORKOUT MEALS THAT IS HELPING ME A LOT (in caps lock so its more visibile)
500g of pasta
qhatever u want to add
divide in two
like i eat 300 grams and the things i added like tomato sauce meat onions etc etc (im italian)
and as soon as i walk home ill eat the other 200g
and i call it Double lunch
12/13 first lunch
18 after the gym second lunch
20/21 dinner

2-3 hours pre workout i mostly eat lunch, chicken or chinese food chicken gongbao with rice :), protein puding, banana and after whey protein+banana and simetimes eggs with tuna can

Try This Shake’ Milk(no fat Or Low Fat
1 or 2 Bananas 5 Dates A Few Almonds.
This has carbs protien potassium and no fat

I enjoy carbs. Sugars from fruits are great for pre workout. After the gym, I eat one of my meal preps.
