If your CPU bottleneck % is higher than your GPU bottleneck % than run ON+boost
If your GPU bottleneck % is higher than your CPU bottleneck % than run ON

Side note - If you're running a game with a frame limit than you may encounter stutters with ON+Boost. If that is the case than switch to just ON

You get a sub from me just for explaining this properly

You can also turn on show latency for cpu and gpu in settings if you don't have benchmark utility.

Keep it coming, maybe some simpler and faster tips since this is the purest short form content there is. This still feels like long form structure

Always wondered if it increased FPS, I got an extra 20 fps when i turned it on for Throne and liberty.
Ncsoft does not know how to optimize their game. Nexon did a better job on the first descendant, they use the same resources.
For anyone complaining not to trust a man with film grain is on drugs.
If you stopped doing drugs and took care of your eyes and didn't wear glasses then you could see that it makes items in the dark more discernible.
So instead of maxing out your gamma like a blind bat, then you can just lather a little film grain and enjoy shooting people like it's tom Clancy without NVG.

What program are you using or recommend for Benchmark?

+Boost is basically the same thing as having your GPU set to Prefer Maximum Performance in the NVCP.

"Similar to the Low Latency Boost feature in the Reflex SDK, the Prefer Maximum Performance mode overrides the power savings features in the GPU and allows the GPU to always run at higher clocks. These higher clocks can reduce latency in CPU-bound instances at a tradeoff of higher power consumption. This mode is designed for gamers who want to squeeze every last microsecond of latency out of the pipeline regardless of power."

If I'm 99% gpu and only 1% CPU is there a problem?? 12900k and 3090

i have an 11th gen i7 4 cores and RTX 3060 @6gb and low latency latency turned on and on+boost does nothing for me so i just leave it on

I agree with this .. but the benchmark is on a small map. In warzone ( big map) my cpu/gpu times are oppisite so i run +boost

What can i do if CPU is on 98% :/
Rtx 3060 + ryzen 7 6800h

whats best option for warzone? even with a 5950x and 3080ti at 1400p my cpu time is always higher than my gpu time. this means cpu bound and so reflex on plus boost. am i right or wrong?

I use on cuz I think my 3070 ti bottleneck my 12700k just a little bit because on plus boost drop my fps from 230 to like 198 205

What???? Why. This has to do with latency input, not frame rate. WTF is this guy talking about.
