"It may look potato, but at least the game play tho" that was both funny and kind of cringe lol

The tip about lowering textures down is absolutely criminal. Textures are the best bang for your buck for the fps cost per quality increase

There are countless other graphics settings (like bloom and reflections) that you should try turning off before what they recommend. Higher quality textures will give you better bang for the buck than almost any other setting, as long as you don't over-extend what your GPU's memory can hold. As for anti-aliasing, don't turn it off entirely, but keep it at a very minimal setting; it helps a lot with the quality and you get most of the benefit with the fastest settings.

Me who does all those things and still gets 4 fps: "Maybe I need a bit of spending"

Undervolting alongside OC is also a no-brainer.

Step 1: Lower graphics settings
Step 3: Same as step 1

If you really want those extra frames, try playing at 144p

You forgot making sure your RGB is set to rainbow spectrum cycle. That gives the most FPS.

Expected him to also add the important step of checking for artifacts with furmark

I always have a rule to never drop texture quality or anti aliasing if i can help it, i always tweak other things because texture clarity is the most important to me

Nice tips! I'll try overclocking my MX250 ultrabook and I'll enable DLSS too, might as well disable RTX!

Additionally, you can use overclocking tools to undervolt and reduce temperatures, while boosting performance at the same time since the card is less likely to thermal-throttle.

What I usually do is normally turn shadows to the lowest setting helps allot

Shadows are always the first graphics effect I turn off for performance. They only look good on the highest settings and most games have enough other lighting effects that you won't see the difference when you're invested in the gameplay. That being said, depth of field and bloom always get turned off by default. Most games way over use them and make it hard to see what you're doing while also impacting performance.

in the case of dlss/fsr, not all games support it, however I use something called lossless scaling off of steam and it has an fsr option

Undervolting would be a good Recommendation
