I used to worry about all this stuff, but now i just go with the default settings and watch these for fun

so basically this works more for low end gpus if youre trying to squeeze 5 fps from 30-35 or 50 to maybe 60. for mid tier pcs with decent specs i think disabling game bar and screen record would be the most impactful one if youre not already running xmp. also not mentioned here was all the windows aero animations, when turned to minimum will make your windows feel older but will improve gaming performance for the sub 100fps gamers on old hardware

Don't listen to 2:09 setting response time to extreme or the highest setting can cause extreme ghosting set it to second highest at most (unless you have an OLED)

1 more thing with Fast Sartup, wen you enable it, not only dows it make sure your PC gets fully shut down, it also makes sure that your RAM gets a full refresh, leading to better RAM usage, effiecncy, and not randomly having more RAM used

No core isolation in windows 11, but thanks for the advice. Can't use Nvidia app it made my video card unstable and it overrides fan control. So back to defaults I went.

Also unselecting the overclock does NOT turn it off. Those settings are written to MSI Afterburner as well. So you have to uninstall the app, and do a clean reinstall of Nvidia drivers to get the driver settings back to defaults.

Fun fact most of these changes especially ones on desktop don't actually affect performance in game at all and another fun fact coming from somebody who has a few Pro players as friends none of them optimize their PC and most of them don't even know how optimization works

This is a “GREAT” video after this I went to another video and it made me use all my cores and restart but it made it worse so I went back to my orginal cores and then my whole pc kept freezing and slowing down but this video provided me with nothing but better FPS and non damage to my pc!

Do not and I repeat do not disable game bar. Some systems won’t tweak when disabling it but I can assure you it will cause problems
