Do I have to change my Nvidia resolution to the resolution I have in my config pc settings, to the game’s resolution that I’m playing at the time?

Like if I have two games with different resolutions in my pc settings for config. Do I have to change my Nvidia resolution to what ever I have that game’s resolution set to, every time I hop on a new game?
