You will find your FPS to be different between the menu and in-game. I capped my FPS to 144 which is why my menu FPS maxed out at 144. In-game FPS varies lower in-game depending on AI, and single core CPU use.

I play ARMA 3 on my laptop as I travel alot and ive never had over 60fps and averaged about 44. I just followed your basic steps up to the point where you did the parameters and checked in the menu and I'm now at 205 FPS.

From 60 - 205 FPS that's insane

How have I never known about this before.

PIP can half your frame rate while in or close to vehicles, even when on lowest quality, I suggest you just turn it off and take the loss of rear vision mirrors in cars
