Build muscle when you can.

Having strong muscles also reduces chances of falls, and fractures

One of the major risk factors that our parents (and eventually we) face as they grow older is their muscles become weak

The ONLY way to fight back against this is regular resistance training. Start lifting weights. This applies to all genders, at all ages.
