As a college student, I’ve been lectured about the chemical dangers of mixing alcohol and caffeine, by a chem major mixing redbull and vodka.

Its for 2 reasons.

Caffeine will make you feel more alert while drunk and therefore lead you to both drink more and potentially drive drunk

And

It can cause more heart attacks

One of the worst effects is the dehydration. Caffeine and alchohol will dry you out so quick, trust me fellows making Hersheys chocolate soup ain't fun😂

If I remember correctly, why it doesn’t happen anymore is because the caffine would counteract the downer effects of the alcohol, basically making you not feel as inebriated as quickly. Then possibly causing you to drink more in a “These eddibles ain’t shit” sort of scenario.

So once the caffeine wears off you’re wayyyy worse off than you would have been beforehand.

I could be wrong tho so if I am, someone please correct me!

Also it’s because it let you respec all your stats into strength.

Those 2009 four lokos were wicked. You'd be piss drunk, but the caffeine kept you going. Issue for me was feeling drunk didn't happen at all, until I was completely wasted. Wild combo. And I think better than mixing energy drinks and liquor.its synergy was more powerful than a self mixed drink
