Interesting the gap between the Tiguan (14) and the Q3 (7). Thought they shared many of the same components - Question whether these reliability surveys are that reliable?

Maybe the newer Tiguan will drop in reliability in the next few years, what I mean to say is probably the older it is the more problems it will have, saying that I thought VW would have scored higher...🤷‍♂

These reliability reports seem to go in all directions. I would like to ask if they are as objective as we think. What I generally believe is that almost all cars can be reliable to some extent. It all depends on how well they are taken care of... One thing I suspect is that if you buy a very expensive car, the service costs will also be very expensive and you will delay the service until the service light light up, maybe longer? I service my car long before the service interval, and rarely drive more than 10, 000 km before changing the oil. As in direct-injected, turbocharged engines, oil changes are even more important to do often.

My kia sportage dct box has been leaking and is going in for a check not bad just oil weeping mechanic said poss seal or gaskets. 😢 it 2018 so under warranty 😂

Kia Sportage bodywork--I've seen some with the paint peeling off, like a horrible skin disease.
