We’ve pulled together a list of the most reliable car brands out there! But before you watch the video, which manufacturer do you think will clinch the top spot? This survey has been calculated using data taken from the extended car warranty data held by Warrantywise and the repairs they have received. A spokesman for Warranty Wise said: “Warrantywise does not release data for cars unless we have a minimum of 100 vehicles as a sample amount. This data relates to claims between 2010 and 2020 and may not represent the reliability of new vehicles as all of the data in the set is for vehicles over 3 years old.”

Why don’t Range Rover owners greet each other?

Because they already met at the repair station in the morning

I'll have you all know, as a Range Rover owner, that 80% of all Land Rovers are still on the road. . . The rest made it back to the shop.

My Honda Jazz at 130.000 km in 11 years. Repair Bill in summary: 160 EUR for two batteries (...my fault, didn‘t turn off the lights). 👌

There was a time, long ago, when buying a German car was prestige because of how much it cost to buy. Now they're prestige because of how much it costs to keep on the road.

The British and the Germans top the "Least Reliable" car list, just in case you were wondering.

My Lexus RX has over 310.000 km and the only thing that had to be fix was absolutely nothing! (But I beat the crap out of it many times) What an awesome brand!

Matt: "At no.22 is yet another German and this time it is Mercedes"
Me: Bangs my head on the laptop.

What did you expect? Japanese Engineering may not be the best-looking, but definitely the most reliable!

From a plethora of sources in Australia, this list would seem fairly accurate except for Fiat and Ford who would be further down the list. What it basically confirms is that Japan and Korea are much better at screwing a car together than the Europeans and Americans.

Pity that the list did not include Jeep and Dodge who would have made Land Rover look excellent for reliability.

I bought a Toyota Camry a few months ago so I feel pretty secure and happy with my purchase as it was between Toyota and Honda so I’d have made out good either way.
