Most people buy Mercedes Benz vehicles, whether it's a car or SUV, based on performance. However, if you're not careful you'll end up spending all your money on Mercedes reliability issues, problems, and you'll just have a higher cost of ownership. Today, I'm going to show you 10 of the worst or most unreliable Mercedes Benz cars (at least from what I've seen) so that you can spend your money the right way.

Bro went to Mercedes to hate on em...I wonder what they thought he was filming 😂

as a Mercedes mechanic I can say:
-he‘s heavily overexaggerating on the 30% of actual issues, which are even ones where a Customer has to pay 0$ for a fix, also doesn’t take more than an hour normally (where you do get a vehicle from the dealership)
- he picked smaller issues (sometimes also issues due to wear) and exaggerates the outcome of those
-lied about some issues (doorhandles breaking off on newer vehicles for example)

As an owner of 6 MB with a current 2017 GLE43 I daily, it has 187k miles and never had 1 failure or issue. A 2019 GLC43 (my wifes daily) has 63k miles zero issues - never seen a dealership. A w218 2016 CLS 63s with 84k miles zero issues! All my previous MB that I had before these ranging from w212 E350, w205 C400, and a w211 E350 have never had any problems. From my parent's MB (GLE, E class and S class and my brothers w205 C63s)- zero issues.

From somebody that had multiple Mercedes. There are actually way more liable than what you think... I've seen a 250 with almost miles it Depending on how the person and previous owner do with the car.

I’ve had a 2011 s550 4matic for 5 solid years, currently sitting at 110k miles and I’ve had zero of the issues he bloviated about. Very subjective & anecdotal! Conventional wisdom/knowledge: Do your Carfax history before purchasing any used vehicle, get a warranty if possible & don’t be cheap on maintenance. I’ve had mine serviced, maintained on-time routinely at the dealership I bought it from. I’ve had to do 1 or 2 repairs in all 5 years I’ve had it, which were inescapable based on certain known milestones, nothing extraordinary. It still drives like a dream. An absolute beast of a machine! About to buy a 2020 s560 soon & I’m torn between keeping my 2011 alongside the 2020 in a couple months or trading it in to pay down/towards the new buy. Still looks and drives amazing as it did the 1st day I got it. Definitely still love it and Highly recommend it to anyone… but obviously again do your due diligence prior to buying and keeping up with on-time quality maintenance. Failure to do so, could very well bring these nightmare scenarios he highlighted into fruition for you.

I have a CLK63, And a CLK550, I haven't had a single problem like that 12:46, The suspension is smooth and as reliable as it can get. It's just a regular coilover suspension, They are cheap. Any problems that I've had are just small problems. The cars run great and I absolutely love them.

Remember, the GLE63 was made in Alabama so of course it's gonna be a turd on four wheels.

My '2012 S550 4 Matic with 105k miles is a good car with no issues as you stated about the car...the car is solid.

Brother I love these videos! You’ve helped me a lot when I almost purchased a BMW 335i. I literally cancelled the purchase and went for a Mercedes E class that you rated good 👍

My M272 C350 has been tremendously reliable! I average about 40k miles a year and it's been smooth sailing! I have yet to spend over a grand in repairs so far in 2 years... Little things here and there especially the interior trims are the opposite story since they're made out of plastic but overall my powertrain has been solid!

Did the s550 v8 bolt problem also affect the 2012 - 2013 4.6 Twin Turbo model? Thanks

When it comes to reliability and air shocks, I can't think of one manufacturer that has managed to make them reliable. If you want guaranteed problems with your suspension, order a vehicle with air suspension. The dealerships are smiling and scheming as you pull out of the lot, Well, there goes another happy customer that we are sure to see again in 50, 000 miles. 13:06

Please, my brother, what is your preference? Which one is better in cars in terms of driving and reliability, because many people have scared me of the BMW 3 Series. Is it really bad in shape and its parts are expensive? Which one is better in terms of reliability and driving? I hope you can elaborate. Why do you elaborate? Because I am confused between the Lexus is350 2021 and the BMW G20 330i/ F30 330i Which is better? I read the article that you publish on the Google website. I hope you can tell me which one is better because I am confused.

I am an owner of w221 and I love it but you are right it’s always in need for parts and camshaft is an issue, replaced the engine and seems I have to replace the engine again

It looks presidential but issues I can’t keep up with

The M272/273 takes the cake for nightmare engine reliability in addition to electric gremlins that had no known solutions. I nearly gave up on Mercedes until i finally came across my love, the M276. This engine is like no other. This was the only Mercedes engine that matched Infinitis VQ35DE and VQ37HR which i both love for reliability and performance. I have the 3.5 liter M276 and the 3.0 liter twin turbo M276. Both are glorious engines in their 7 speed and 9 speed transmissions. The M276 punches above its weight and pay grade. Depending on the conditions, i believe it produces more horsepower than advertised. I have driven both the C350 and C300 4matic that makes 302 hp and 249 hp respectively. My conclusion is that the c300 4matic in sports mode probably makes about 260hp and not the claimed 249 hp. The C350 probably makes about 315 hp and not the claimed 302hp. And the 3.0 twin turbo that makes a claimed 384 hp, on the top end, actually makes about 396hp.
