Recommending the GLK is absolutely crazy. These vehicles along with the whole Mercedes, Audi & BMW lineups have proven to be insane money pits. How can you possibly recommend these vehicles??

THE 2000 Navigator was a rental SUV at the time I purchased it. I saved 22, 000.00 and it had only 18000kg on it at the time of purchase. I drove it for 14 years. It was easy on fuel and had excellent navigation.

My 1997 & 2002 Mitsubishi Montero 3.5 L V6 was by far the most reliable and capable SUV’s ever, never got stuck in snow, it was A fearless Full sized SUV, traded one for the other, the only reason I got rid of it was the Lack of parts availability, the older it got it just got to expensive to find available parts.

My 225, 000-mile '03 Lexus GX470 is still going strong, V8 is smooth, quiet and powerful, the air suspensions works perfectly, it's got all-day driving comfort and with full-time 4WD and a locking differential, it will off-road quite well.

We had good luck with our 2008 Ford Escape with V-6 engine. At 200, 000 miles only had to replace the struts and water pump. Changed the oil with synthetic oil every 4, 000 miles and Transmission, Differential, PTO gear oil synthetic every 30, 000 miles. I wish the newer SUVs like the newer Escape did not evolve to look more like station wagons than boxy SUVs as I need an SUV that will fit 2 dog boxes side by side (47 inches of width between the wheel wells).

My wife drives a Honda Fit Shuttle and after watching this documentary I am now going to upgrade her car to either a Honda CRV or the Rav 4. Thanks.

I own a 2016 Honda CRV which we purchased used with low mileage in 2017 and it now has >66, 000 miles with no problems. But we do all the recommended maintenance. We have been happy with it and on long highway driving can get 30+ mpg!

I own a 2018 Outlander GT V6, good to see it made number 4 on the list, no issues at all, so I agree. No CVT either on this one.
There has to be a good reason this made in Japan SUV has a 10 year warranty, flies under the radar of most buyers. I took the zero percent interest deal in 2018 and now it's 100% paid off.
Just had a full detail done on it, with ceramic coating, and it looks brand new like it just came off the show room floor. This thing got me out a scary watery ditch one time, very safe AWD system.

I had a 2004 BMW X5. It was great for 200, 000 miles, THEN, it got electrical gremlins due to the panoramic moon roof. They are known for trouble. It still had a great engine and no issues, but when you get gremlins, it has to go. Made me sad. Now I have a DIESEL X5 with 125, 000 miles so far. Have not had any issues. Love an X5!

My wife and I are still enjoying our 2012 Cadillac SRX. Purchased at auction, it was a lease car. We purchased it in 2015 and it had less than 25, 000 miles on it. only problem was it needed brake pads all around, 4 new tires and a new battery, oh the rear camera was fuzzy so I installed a new one in it. Great running car millage now at 110, 000.
