In Calvinism Election is = "Unilateral, Unequal and Uneven" which goes against God's stated Character which is LOVE and He Shows NO partiality. Therefore Calvinism is Unbiblical.

I agree they do not clearly state what they mean in several of their positions!!! Ugh Anything needing to be cloaked to appeal to the audience should at best be questioned, but in reality should nicely be refuted.. not always easy to be as cordial as Leighton. thank you being, that role model

I was a former Protestant, specifically a Calvinist for ten years, i agree 100 percent, Calvin did untold damage to the body of Christ by perverting the apostolic teachings in respect to election. I really appreciate you continuously bringing awareness 🙏🏻

It entails that a God who is defined as Love chose to glorify Himself by creating people for the purpose of eternal damnation when He could have saved them.

It entails that God's Love is just a secondary and dismissible attribute when compared to God's Glory.

It entails that God had to choose between loving more people or glorifying himself more, and God chose Himself.

Calvinists divorce God's Love from his Glory, and then present themselves as more "humble" or zealous for God's glory when confronted on the subject. What good is glory without love? The idea that God needs to resort to such an act to glorify himself when He is already maximally glorious, or that God can be more glorified by showing less love is simply a complete contradiction of what the Bible teaches about God.

The term "God is Love" in Calvinism is hollow and self-contradictory.

Dr. Flowers, I cannot understand at what point a Calvinist considers himself "saved." With evangelicals, there is almost always an incident, whether it's when he says the sinner's prayer, or walks down the aisle to make a public profession of faith. Calvinists seem rather nebulous on this. I've heard salvation likened to being in deep water, about to drown, calling out for help, and then lifted up and brought to safety. Surely, then, the saved person should be able to give a testimony of the moment he knew he was lost and then was saved? And even if it was a "process, " why wouldn't he remember that special moment, the most pivotal moment of his life?

In calvinism, you feel so lucky that god elected you. If god doesnt call you, you just stay in a state of sin forever. How is it your fault at all that you go to hell? I never could get around that logic.

However, a majority of brothers who have a closed heart to this doctrinal ideology, no matter how clean and sincere the explanation of the channel is, Calvinists do not change, because their false faith is in Calvinism and not in the cross, no matter how much they preach. Regrettably... they believe in this direction as absolute and preach much more about other subjects, "obscuring their truth" so as not to frighten their listeners with the message of predestination, where their children, brothers, neighbors and friends will not believe them. Then they lead people to Christ with the message of the cross and then pollute it with the message of Calvin and others.

The average Christian doesn’t really know what Calvinism teaches. They may have heard R.C. Sproul or John MacArthur, or other teachers speak about it. They've heard them speak about/against Arminians and they just figure "I must be a Calvanist, because I know I'm not an Arminian".

Once you explain what Calvinism teaches about who is saved and who is lost, they say "I don’t believe that!" and go back to their pastor or teacher to ask about and it.

What I've seen happen is the "It's a mystery" type of answer because "no one knows the thoughts of the Lord, and who are you to think you have it figured out or question God"?
"After all, they've been having the Calvinism vs Arminianism debate for 100's of years"

The average Christian at this point, bewildered 🥴 by it all drops the issue. 🫥

Dr. Flowers it would be helpful to answer questions put to Piper or McCarthur and put your answer side by side. For example Piper believes all babies saved based on Roman's 1. How would Dr. Flowers answer same question as to how God views babies and why. 2nd question. "What does one say if asked by non believer how do I become a Christian.?" McCarthur says the only thing that he could tell this person is to plead to God for mercy. Doing short 4:08 videos in a side by side format answering questions like this would be great.

Leighton, I was wondering how you are able to react to people like James White, MacAurthor, and Piper without infringing on their copyright? I know what the fair use law says but I also know that YouTube normally sides with the original content because they don't want to get sued in case the original content flags you.

I was also wondering about thumbnails. Is it perfectly legal to take a picture of James White and put him on one of your videos as a thumbnail? I mean, everyone does it. But I was just wondering whether that fell under fair use also.
