“ALL we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned—every one—to his own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us ALL.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭53‬:‭6‬ ‭ESV‬‬

This verse refutes Limited Atonement.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

The guy that preaches so much against “false teachers” should examine his doctrine more closely. All means all, anyone means anyone. This is why we present the gospel according to Jesus’ instruction, then it is up to the hearer, each with the same opportunity. “WHOEVER believes and are baptized will be saved, but WHOEVER does not believe will be condemned.”

When you have to apply complicated logic to understand an idea, it is probably incorrect when it comes to the Word of God. God is not the author of confusion.

To say I'm unworthy of your sacrifice Dear Lord Jesus is an infinite understatement. I am a sinner, and there are times when I hate myself. I genuinely want your forgiveness, but my loneliness sometimes seems to get the better of me and that's a struggle for me. I often think of your Crucifition in utter awe. That you, God the Son himself, creator of a universe with Trillions of galaxies would become a human being. I cannot even begin to fathom what that means. You said "Father forgive them for they know not what they do". Only on Judgement will any of us begin to comprehend the enormity of what happened at the cross. Just like the man crucified next to you I ask "Remember me when you come into your kingdom".

John McArthur blasphemed against Jesus Christ' finished sacrifice at the cross. His Blood purged ALL of humanity's past, present, and future sins. God wants us to have free will to choose for Him or for self. He provided a way, through Jesus Christ in faith alone (John 6:29 and John 6:40).

It is not God's will that ANY should it is a decision on our part whether to accept or reject the free gift of salvation that was obtained for us by the great sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ.

John quotes the scripture at time stamp 37 sec., 1 John 2:2- "And He (Christ) is the PROPITIATION for our sins, and NOT FOR OURS ONLY, BUT ALSO FOR THE SINS OF THE WHOLE WORLD... he gave the answer, and then gave an argument against it. Propitiation means; atonement, or payment. Christ paid for the sins of the whole world. Not everyone accepts this payment, but Jesus died for them anyway. This demonstrates the unconditional love of God.

“All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out. No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up at the last day.”
‭‭John‬ ‭6:37, 44‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

This guy is so confused. He’s a blind leader leading the blind.

But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.
2 Corinthians 11: 3

consequently, just as one trespass resulted in condemnation for all people, so also one righteous act resulted in justification and life for all people. Rom 5:18. All can be saved, God said He did not want anyone to perish. But you must exercise faith in His grace.

Behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the WORLD.

God's plan for salvation was planned before the foundations of the world but no one was predestined to heaven or hell.

Jesus Christ died for the sin of the whole world and when we repent from our sins and trust in Jesus Christ we have eternal life God is not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance according to the scriptures.

God is big enough to work his will around the free will of his creation, man. People need to understand that. Jesus paid the price for the sins of the world. If you don't let Jesus pay for your sins, then you get too. That doesn't mean they aren't already paid for by Jesus!

All I can say is MacArthur is going to have a lot to answer for one day at the great white throne, for leading so many people astray with his false doctrine!!

CONT. He DID die for everyone but not everyone wants/chooses to receive the forgiveness provided. The Atonement (covering O.T.) is not diminished neither His Propitiation (canciliation & appeasement N.T.) which are two VERY different meanings. " Believe in the LORD Jesus Christ and thou shall be saved."

When you promote the importance of systematics over the actual words of Scripture, you get into trouble over questions like this. The Bible is clear that Jesus Christ "tasted death for every man" (Heb 2:9). He is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world (1 Jn 2:2). "All we like sheep have gone astray.... and the Lord hath laid on Him the iniquity of us all (Isa 53:6). Everyone is invited in the kingdom of Christ, and the invitation is genuine. God does not invite the world to Him whilst secretly knowing that there are those who have no Savior at all because Christ didn't die for them.

Another interpretation: Jesus atoned for all of the sins of all of the people of the earth. He truly was the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world. It is a free gift, not a conditional offer. However, many will reject the gift.

The Father is not willing that ANY should perish. I cannot believe that God would create anyone to be predestined for damnation. If they are dammed, it is because they chose not to take advantage of the very real atonement. The Gospel is simple and can be understood by all. You do not need a theological degree to know the Truth.

John 3:16 makes it clear and simple who Jesus died for: The world and whomever believes.

All this talk of potential attonment is just man trying to play God.
