I use ginger and tumeric with honey (fermented in honey). I fractured my elbow last year, they told me to take tylenol for the pain, but instead I took the tumeric & ginger in honey, as well as garlic fermented in honey to take care of the pain worked like a charm. Not only that after about 3 weeks when I went back to my doctor my blood pressure was down to what used to be in my 20's. I am 81 now and they were getting a little worried about the level before this happened.

Have been using raw ginger for a month and now seeing great changes in my health. Reduction in shortness in breathing is one example. Thanks for info and ginger consumption is still the best.

I do A tablespoon of extra-virgin olive oil, a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar, a teaspoon of ginger, a teaspoon cayenne pepper, a teaspoon of black pepper, a teaspoon of turmeric, and I squeeze a half a lemon A drizzle of honey and one clove of garlic, chopped up and let it sit for 10 minutes. I do this every day.

You need to add olive oil to tumeric to dissolve it. You also need black pepper to enhance its potency. I am 92 and good luck to you.

In May 2022 we travelled to Iceland to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. In the mornings at the hotel breakfast, we kept seeing people drinking shots of something with the food. We were curious and so we asked. The chef makes ginger juice that he then pours into shot glasses. We knew some of the health benefits of ginger and so started drinking a shot glass of it every morning we were there. At the end of our stay, we asked the chef how he makes his ginger juice. He said he couldn't give exact measurements for the ingredients as he has made it for years and just eyes it all. He said he grates ginger by and must be done this way to extract all the goodness. he then adds 7 cups of boiling water, 2 tsps. natural honey not processed honey, 2 tsps. fresh squeeze lemon juice and 2 tsp fresh squeezed lime juice. Let the mixture steep until it cools then bottle it and keep in your fridge. I haver type 2 diabetes and it helps my blood sugar levels, but I also have hypothyroidism, which means I have a very slow metabolism and it takes a lot long for my body to digest food, so slow that in fact the food starts to ferment in my stomach which eventually causes some violent vomiting. I have not had this issue since drinking our daily ginger juice shots, which is a game changer for me!

I've been boiling a 1/2 teaspoon of ginger, 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric, and 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon in 2 cups of water and straining the mixture, hot into a vessel with 1 tablespoon of coconut oil and a tablespoon of honey along with a dash of pepper. I do that every night before bed. I sleep better and I feel better.

My favorite turmeric recipe is : 8 or 6 once glass of room temp water with a small tea spoon of turmeric and a squeezed lemon juice upon arising on an empty stomach, not at breakfast time but some time before, it made my immune system bulletin proof walking around for days in very close proximity with the flu and I had mot even a scratchy throat or runny nose, completely unaffected, I took note of that very unusual case
