Found out I have PCOS this year after trying for kids for 2 years. I lost 30 pounds so far and already seeing my symptoms less. Still struggling with infertility and horrible periods. I am hoping if I lose more that it could help with infertility so I don’t have to do IVF.

I’m 25 and was diagnosed with PCOS back in January (testosterone of 50, FSH of 9.4, etc.) after TTC baby #2 since June 2022 with only 2 cycles a year. I’ve been on metformin (2000mg) as well as a thyroid medication since January. This month was my first month on letrozole (5mg). Before I started the letrozole, my LH was ALL OVER THE PLACE, and very high. This cycle, my LH seemed to level out and I got my LH peak on CD17, and today on CD20 I got a BBT spike!! I’m really hoping this is my month! 🤞🏻

I have learned so much with you I really appreciate videos like this. It all makes sence to me now. I was diagnosed with pcos in my early 20s and I always thought I could never have kids. After 10 years of trying for a baby on April 8 2022 I found out I was pregnant after beings put on progesterone by my obgyn. Unfortunately it was an ectopic pregnancy I was entering the 9 week mark when it ruptured and after 3 days of back and forth to the emergency room they finally found it but it was too late. My left fallopian tube had to be removed and the pregnancy had to be terminated. I was so devastated and searched for answers and came across you channel and it has been so so helpful ever since. I stopped taking progesterone because I did not was my body to rely on it and wanted to see if my body would respond on its own. it did for a couple of months and then stopped. The last time I got a cycle was in January 2023. On April 10th 2023 something told me to take an ovulation test and it was very very bright and positive I waited 3 days after ovilatkon to start progesterone again to avoid my chances of having another tubal pergnancy. I'm currently waiting to see if this works and I get my rainbow baby fingers crossed. Thanks to you I have so much hope aiang and I know I will get my baby. I promise I won't stop until I do.

Thanks for making this video pcos is often misdiagnosed or not taken as seriously. My periods were regular before I got a copper IUD and then when I had it removed they became nonexistent. Ironically doing two medicated cycles of Leterzole caused my periods to come back but I still wasn’t able to track ovulation. It’s weird but I’m hoping with my cycle becoming semi regular I get pregnant soon.

😳This is what happened to me. I was on birth control for about 12 years whether it was the pill or IUD. I got it removed and had a relatively regular period for about a year and a half, every 35-44 days. Then, I would get them about every three months or so if I'm lucky. I went to my GYN to get tested for PCOS due to hair growth and rapid weight gain, and found out I was pregnant. Got pregnant after seven months of actively trying which was about 2.5 years after getting off of BC. OBGYN stated that I had PCOS but seem to dismiss it.

🦄🦄🦄🦄 I was diagnosed with PCOS at 15. (Also started taking metformin at 15). Prior to even starting bc. My cycle was extremely irregular from the initial start of womanhood. I would go 3-4 months without a period then twice in a month etc. I was also an athlete. Doc did blood work and found I had slightly high testosterone. And also had beads on my ultrasound. Fast forward 12 years.. I got off birth control. Obviously periods back to being irregular. I really changed to up my workout routine and diet since gaining 20 pounds on bc. Now my periods are some what regular plus or minus a few days. But I have zero progesterone and I mean 0.00. On top of that I now have hypothyroidism. I was on clomid for 2 cycles and failed. Now I’m waiting for my new doctor to start me on their method/treatment plan. Hope to be pregnant with baby #1 this summer! If not we plan to adopt as I plan on not doing ivf/ iui for personal reasons 🤞🏼🙏🏼👶🏻🦄🦄🦄🦄🦄🦄🦄🦄🦄🦄🦄

I’m honestly confused about my situation. I did tons of blood tests in the past year but nothing comes out, ( the doctors always say it’s stress h I check all the symptoms of PCOS, but my period has been regular in the past year or so. I’ll probably have to check up with a doctor again. Thank you for this!

Testosterone, prolactin, progesterone, and cortisol is low. Slight insulin resistance. Exhausted and cannot lose weight. Doctor is saying I have PCOS, still not 100% convinced but I don't what else could be the issue.

Hi Dr Natalie Crawford! I love listening to your videos. I was hoping if you can tell me if using Letrozole can cause birth defects or higher chances of autism in babies? I find different answers on the net and I am really hoping of you can answer this question? Any help is much appreciated…. Thank you! 😊

I'm 32, overweight, and have seizures and am on ACM's. I also was diagnosed with PCOS. I've been trying to lose weight for years now and keep hitting a plateau then gain the weight back and repeat the cycle. Is there a connection between the two? I've learned so much about PCOS from you and have a better understanding of it. Now, I'm wondering if my seizures or ACM's could be interfering with my PCOS.

Are you saying long term use of hormonal birth control pill can cause pcos?

I know what I have is different, my obgyn told me the name like five years ago, but I have the thing where both of my overies are covered in cysts. I get the depo shot now because I couldn't stop bleeding, he didnt want to do a histeractume (not sure how to spell it) because I'm in the 30s, even though I told him I don't plan to have children. My reason for that is because of family mental health history.

Can you have a high FSH (163 a year ago and after supplementing bioHRT it went down to 117 six months ago, not sure of current) AND have PCOS? I’m 39 and started getting Premature Menopause symptoms like hot flashes and all the sleep issues, moodiness, inability to handle stress etc. I just had the OBGYN test my testosterone (I have had to literally be my own Dr the last several years and push for tests I think I need to find some degree of answer). My testosterone is 171. My estradiol and progesterone (before bioHRT) were almost non-existent. I have had cysts on my ovaries but was never diagnosed with PCOS. I’ve always been thin and active, and always ate quite healthy. I’m up 18lbs from my usual 133, so not bad but not my usual. Since learning of my high testosterone I’m now wondering if maybe I have PCOS and not POI/Premature Menopause. It’s so frustrating dealing with the medical world. I keep having to go back and say “look here, try this.” Something isn’t right. I have felt horrible for years, to the point I pray for my life to end because I’m often too tired to get through a work day.

Hello doctor, I have thin PCOS and I’ve been told that provided I have no insulin resistance and my blood sugar is normal, it will be more difficult for me to get pregnant because metabolic wise there is not much to do to help me achieve pregnancy… is that true?

Well that was enlightening. I'm a walking poster child for pcos. Every single detail made perfect sense to me and explained exactly what I'm going through. I'm 21 years old. I haven't had my period in almost a year. Thankyou. At least I'm 99% sure what's wrong with me now. I don't have to guess anymore. Ps: does anyone know what testing for this costs? I know I can't afford it, but a number would be great. No, I don't have any kind of insurance. I can't afford it.
