I enjoy dumbbell routines.I like that you don't have awful techno music like most aerobics exercises use.Thank you.

I just came back to do the video again and saw all these lovely comments :) It is so lovely to see the community being active and growing. I really enjoy coming here and reading these before I do my workouts, it is such a positive vibe boost 🥰

I absolutely love your chair workouts and do them every week. I am in the UK and struggle with mobility. A wheelchair user but I sit on a stool to do my workouts. I have been doing them now for 14 weeks and can see a real difference. I enjoy that you do different rest periods so I don't get too bored and my body doesn't get used to a set rest time. Like you, I also stress if I have a rest day or a light day and I am hard on myself and worry that this will mean I am giving up. It is good to hear others think in the same way. Thank you xxx

Nice to see you, Lara. Hope you are doing well. I was missing you and the kittens. I used to work with young people who had no or very limited lower mobility so we used to do upper body exercises with them with some weighted objects. I like when things are inclusive and suit people from all walks of life and with various abilities.

Yes loved the Seated, loved the format (I repeated some of the warmup movements during the rest intervals) and loved your pep talk about rest days -- thank you 🥰

Wheelchair user here…..I LOVE your videos! I have to do a lot one arm at a time exercises, with your videos I’m able to do so. More seated workouts please! Upper body and core exercises is all I can do because I don’t have leg mobility. Hope you’re feeling good, and thank you for the encouragement.

Thank you very much Lara! I love your seated workouts. I did enjoy the longer break, and I love doing three sets. It’s good to see you back. I am visiting my grandchildren and it has been amazing. I have my one granddaughter here watching me do my workout. My heart is full. Have a great day Lara.❤️🏋️‍♀️

I love listening to you chat. I appreciate chair workouts because it feels like it is taking forever for my foot injury to heal. Having time to lift heavier is good but I prefer to keep moving and like alternating exercises with minimal rest. Thanks for your channel. It has helped me so much during this healing period!

This is still one of my favorite upper body workouts! About halfway through I start feeling that pleasant tightness in my upper arms that tells me I'm doing something. I do it standing, and walk across my house and back during the breaks. Out of curiosity, I checked my Fitbit today, and actually clocked over 1, 000 steps just by walking between sets. Who knew!!

I love this van ban van getting through this in ½ an hour and no bending! I have osteoporosis and in my spine.
No problems with this great workout. Thank you

I really liked the longer length of this video and it felt like a comprehensive workout to me. I also like the 30 second intervals as it gives me time to make adjustments or fluff around if I need to. I'd like to hear more information about the specific exercise we're doing at the time. Things like the muscles we're using, how they work and what we use them for.

I am in the process of losing 110 lbs. I have lost 35 lbs. so far.If I don't exercise and do dumbbells every day, I freak myself out by thinking I will gain weight overnight.I have dropped carbs almost completely, and only let myself have part of a serving size when I do have any.I can get very obcessed with dieting and exerciseIf I don't allow myself a " bad" thing( a 90 calorie fiber brownie- type thing, or some grapes), I might binge and that would really mess with my head.I have to remember that it took me years of inactivity and emotional eating to gain the weight I did.So I think it will take me a year or so of hard work to get it off. It's only been almost 4 months so far.35 pounds lost so far is ok.Your videos help me alot.I like your conversations and lack of awful techno aerobics music. Thanks . 😃

I like these seated weight workouts. Could you do a similar one with kettlebells?

Hello :) I love your videos! I like that you include both a warm up and a cool down and your timer with the beeps is amazing! I don't mind you talking through the workout, I actually find it enjoyable because it puts my mind off the exercising. 😅
A good thing I heard in the fitness world is *moving your body as a celebration and giving thanks to your body* rather than a punishment or something that you HAVE TO do. This helped me to improve my body image and relationship to exercise :). A bad thing I see currently is fitness influencers selling dubious supplements and product

I love this new video, I was able to use my 5kg weights for the bicep curls because of the extra rest in between. I also loved the way you did the bent over row this time, it's the way I've been doing them as I am not comfortable leaning right over. It's good to know it's really okay to do them like that as I wasn't overly sure. My gripe about the fitness gadget stuff is that I also use Samsung, I have a phone and watch that are both Samsung, but there is no wheelchair activity listed in their extensive list of activities. I've written to them numerous times to tell them Apple has had this function for years and they really need to up their game. It hasn't got me anywhere though and it cheeses me off when my watch tells me to go for a walk. The one that really gets me is when it buzzes and tells me to try standing up. I think to myself 'well, I'll try it but it's going to get messy'!! There, that's my moan out there in the ether, perhaps I'll let it go now! Oh, and if I could have a super power I wouldn't pick mind reading, I'd choose telekinesis - imagine the fun you could have with that! Thanks again for the workout, it was great - and keep up the chat, I love it xxx
