HUGE RTX 5080 & 5090 LEAK! Release Date & Performance Details

Yet more details on RTX 50 have leaked, this time on the RTX 5080 and RTX 5090 flagship GPUs for Nvidia Blackwell next gen. Following on from the other day, we have an UPDATE to the power consumption / TGP of RTX 50, as well as an fresh leaks on the Blackwell release date and more details on the expected performance of these next gen graphics cards from Nvidia.

But with AMD RDNA 4 bowing out of the high end race entirely to focus on the mid and low end, will the RTX 5080, RTX 5090 and other RTX 50 SKUs really have a competitive enough edge in price vs performance? With no competition in the high end space, Nvidia could see no reason to push the envelope on specs or performance. Just what kind of of value for money will we see with RTX 50 Blackwell?

Nearly 10 minutes to say a guess of the TDP of the cards (500-600 watts TLDW) - no really new information. Really only interested in VRAM capacity and SM/CUDA cores/perf details.

Really low quality video. 95% bait. BTW. NVidia will price it so absurdly it will kill all fun of building new PC.

Given the VRAM requirements of AI... I'm 100% not interested in any flagship products under 32gb of VRAM, but would be verry willing to drop 2k+ for 48gb-64gb card.

Dont bother watching the video. Save your time, its clickbait. He doesn't discuss anything new.

The fear mongering needs to stop. 600w is nothing considering a 4090 never pulls more than 400-450w and usually less in gaming

*I think the term clickbait is being overused by commenters. GamerMeld is clickbait. What he titles is always BS. Plus he just steals EVERYTHING Redgaming (Paul) says and regurgitates it.*

*Paul at least TALKS about everything in his titles. Just because it isn't detailed down to the fine print, doesn't make it clickbait.*

You probably shouldn't use 5090 power consumption in the same sentence as the word "modest", unless you're saying your PSU will only need to provide the output of a modest star.

If the 5xxx series cards do not have DP 2.1 what the fk is the point...for people who own ultra wide screens they cannot even utilize full bandwidth as some screens...i.e the Samsung Neo G9 57inch need DP2.1 to run at their full resolution. I'll honestly go buy someone's secondhand 4090.

If 600W for 5090 is true, that 12VHPWR connector has no chance of retaining its solid form.

I cannot wait for that 5090. I already have my system ready to go for that beast including the 16 pin power plug which required me digging out another cord out of my parts bin for my modular PS. I'm ready. Thanks for the latest update.

Any Idea on the performance for 3D software like Blender or Davinci resolve on editing.

Why do I keep watching these type of videos? I’m a sucker I guess. No relevant info to when we can actually get these things and their specs.

I'm so sad cuz AMD is not dropping out a 8900 xt or xtx :(

Tired of leaked rumors, just wait and see until launch. Then, you will know what the true specs are for blackwell.

If A.I. doesn't affect gaming performance that much, why do they hype it so much?

I don't know what they are giving a TGP value, TGP =/= TDP/TBP. If TGP is 550W the TDP/TBP will likely be 600W.
