2 weeks later and still nothing from nvidia.

I was wondering about this exactly. Both the 3090 and 4090 were launched in September, right? If Nvidia wants to continue their tradition, they'll need to launch very soon.

Buying a 50xx Card should include a Wall-Box installation to provide the power needed...

It annoys me that with every new gen of GPU's, that we have to not only pay higher prices, but also have to pay more in electricity.

Kopite is still wrong I believe on the 5080 . The 600 watts is the titan. The 500 is the 5090 and then the 5080 is 450 probably or 420 watts who knows haha. Not sure about the 5080 one but all good.

My power supply is 600 watts. These TDP's are getting more and more ridiculous.

Tizz the season that even just a fart sounding like a coil whine, constitutes a “new 5090 leak”

What's vital to know here is if Nvidia is encountering an Intel scenario where they're literally just over-pumping voltage into these cards to up the performance, despite knowing that it's going to cause really fast degradation.

So the rumored wattages for the 5090 are 500, 550, and 600. Really covering all bases

A Q4 release makes sense considering AMD and intel processors are released this year and the new 800 series motherboards release this month

They'll be delayed to 2025, NVidia doesn't want to piss off the shareholders

If the 4000 series didnt burst into flames and burn down your house. The 5000 series is guarenteed too.

TSMC 4NP is what is going to make the RTX 50 Series a disappointment.

I am taking a shot in the dark guess… but I’m going to assume that the 5090 & 5080 will release for sale the week of or before Black Friday, with the release of the 60 & 70 will be mid-late December.

Nvidia would be stupid to release it later because it will cut into their probable sales volume.

the brightside is NVIDIA is not slowing down in performance gains....they don't care what AMD condition in their gpu lineup....this is huge opportunity for NVIDIA when AMD cancel highend for rnda4 ...they gonna increase huge gains in performance in midrange and low end while same time 5090 is a monster still while 5080 is 10% faster than 4090 while 5080ti is ANOTHER MONSTER that cost 1199...its huge blow to AMD now for be what they are now....AMD think NVIDIA is like INtel...that part they got wrong....NVIDIA never take any break from anyone ...no matter what is your opponent...you eat your opponent when they are down something intel made mistake on that during AMD FX era...Intel could have take advantage but they just took a long vacation
