NVIDIA RTX 5000 Series: Leaked 5080 + 5090 Specs, Release Date & Everything We Know!

In the two years since the RTX 4000 series launched, NVIDIA has gone from the leading GPU maker whose chips were used for crushing benchmarks and mining crypto... to being one of the most valuable companies in the world, largely off the back of the current AI boom.

For most of us, though, gaming GPUs are still the first thing we think of when we see that green swirly eyeball thing. And so, a quarter-century on from the launch of the first GeForce graphics card, it'll soon be time for the new RTX 5000 series to push performance to new heights.

i have the 3070 Ti from EVGA and I think i am okay for a few more years. I just wanted to see if there was a significant improvement that is noticable.

So 5080 basically has 0% shader increase over 4080, has only half the cores of 5090, but for sure will cost more.

I am waiting for RTX 5070, hopefully it can perform equivalent to at least a RTX 4080s. Hopefully it gets launched by Jan end.

I built my first computer in 2020 with a Ryzen 5 3600 and a RTX 2070s (just before the 3000 series came out--oops). So I'm looking to upgrade to the new 5000 series card and getting a super ultra wide monitor in 2025

I'm currently on my 960 with 4gb since 2016. I'm waiting for the 5060 (ti) with at least 16gb vram. I only care about future proof features and power efficiency. I hope there will be leaks for it soon

100GB GDDR6 ram costs 250$ and with how memory hungry AI is 16GB for 5080 is a massive miss. And 32GB is way too little. Apple's M4 computers with 128GB ram put nvidia's top cards to shame with ram capacity.
