I had 2 doordash order from papajohns where the app told me cash on delivery, the orders were decent but declinend orders, one because it was 11pm and another was bacuse did not feel safe and it was first time. I was wondering whats youre take on it. Thanks

In my area if I had that standard I would never get any dashes. I do minmum $5 with at least $1 per mile. I'm in New Orleans.

My city doesn’t really tip well. I’ve been out for two hours and can only have made $25 is really exhausting so I stopped for the day. And the part about declining the $3 and $4 order doorDash dropped my acceptance rate to the 70% and wasn’t giving me any orders really anymore because I was declining them. Because if you give me a $3 I don’t wanna drive 4 miles or 5 miles. I believe your tip should equal to your mouth or at least a dollar or two dollars more.

Truth. I would even shoot for $2 per mile. I guess it depend on the market tho. Only thing I would add to this is try to have your deliveries end up in another hot zone so you can get another order almost immediately.

I made 480$ this weeks on door dash and 390$ on Uber eats. Super easy amarillo Texas you can get from one side to the other in 15 miniutes.
