Ah yes. Billionaires having the same prices brackets as millionaires

Edit: because people don't get what I meant, someone can be a millionaire and be below the final bracket or 2, they just have more than 2-3 mill in the bank.
Yes, the billionaire should in theory pay more because its in percentage (but they most likely not really because their money isn't liquid or anything).

It fairness, I believe Bernie and others have said that every budget Trump submitted as President had cuts to medicare and ss. Fact checking should also include when truths are spoken.

"They're not planning to cut Medicaid funding, they're just planning to cut who gets it and how much they get."

When saying Trump would cut medicare and SS dispite pledging not to, Democrats are arguing from Trump's record. During his presidency, Trump also promised not to cut Medicare and SS, but every year, he proposed a budget that would do just that.
If he has a more receptive Congress, he might've succeeded.

??? I think Bernie was referring to the budgets Trump introduced as president???? Yk the ones that wanted to cut medicare

Bernie wasnt even talking about project 2025, he was talking about trump "putting forward budgets" to cut social security, medicare and medicaid.

We need fact checkers more often. I’m not sure how to properly implement this into live debates. Maybe after each topic they have a break where during that break information is being reviewed or something. It would really deter how easy it is to make something sound good for your party, but then it’s not true at all.

I already can't qualify for either Obamacare or Medicaid/Medicare in my state, I can only imagine making it stricter is going to exasperate deaths in poverty stricken communities.

I don't believe Sanders was referring to Project 2025. He said "putting forth budgets to cut SS and Medicare". He was referring to Trump's past budgets

I think what sanders is referring to is all the other times the GOP has threatened to cut social security, mc, and ma. Not just what’s outlined in project 2025

I’m glad that this is the most “egregious” incorrect info that’s being put out at this event. The RNC fact check could be a 6 hour video!

Trump proposed a budget with cuts to Social Security and Medicare every year of his term so yes, Senator Sanders was correct in his assertiok

Work requirements for welfare are some of the most broken changes that were made in the 90s and I will die on that hill.

Meanwhile, fact checking the RNC be like "no, Kamala Harris did not give sexual favors to undocumented immigrants in exchange for votes."

If I only pay 15% in taxes, I’m saving thousands upon thousands of dollars. I think it’s a net gain for most

The problem with the book is that it's written in a way that most people don't understand. They use code words, which confuses people.

$168k /year isnt even that much anymore. Thats just middle class now, especially if you have a family. Its unimaginable to me that someone who worked hard, went to school and accrued student debt, just to earn above poverty wages and support their family, would be to forced to pay the same tax rate as someone who make $168k in a month from stockmarket earnings. And yet they claim to be for American families. The absurdity should be astonishing for everyone.
