I believe that compassion is a fundamental quality every citizen should have in modern society, especially police officers. It’s shocking how someone so lacking in basic human decency could become a police officer.

This is very tragic and shows the underlying racial hatred in Americas. But I am glad the university stands in solidarity to show they are above such demeaning culture of hatred.
I couldn't help but compare this University to that of India as well. Even in India the Brahmanical systematic hatred has engulfed every institution including universities. But unlike the American University here in India Hatred is celebrated as a great cultural ethos and religious righteousness. Right from a university ousting professors, lecturers to treating students as criminals and terrorists on the mere act of stating facts about the atrocities of Sanatan Dharm (that has institutionalize hatred and caste based oppression as a virtue) to the crimes of State against the people of India.
I am in total solidarity with the Indian community and wish the Indian community stands in solidarity and support the oppressed Muslims, dalits and other minorities of India that face day in and day out onslaught from both State and hindutva terrorist of India.
