Cheers to the American people standing against corrupt cops

Doesn’t a policeman saying a human life has limited value go against everything they are supposed to stand for??

Fire him and make him publicly apologize or don’t let him get his pension. What a monster of a cop

As an Indian, I consider it manslaughter but not based on race. But the other cop definitely made it racist.

He absolutely should be fired. Disgusting behavior. Shameful.

Unbelievable. I can’t begin to imagine how the young ladies family feels. This is despicable, and I hope the officer is fired, and never ever allowed to be in a position of enforcing law.

Implying that the victim had “no value “ is shocking and insensitive. This was said as the officer was laughing on camera. What a horrible human being. She was a daughter, sister and a loving person to her family. There was no continuous siren as he recklessly drove his squad car through intersection. Officer should be fired and charged with reckless homicide.

After 18 use of force cases against this cop and $2 millions settlements to victims of his abuse how this cop still on duty?
System created by them to protect them and serve them, not people.

I am absolutely SICK to my stomach right now.
HOW can anyone be so CALLOUS I can't even
wrap my mind around this. ESPECIALLY from a
freaking COP!! You are supposed to PROTECT
people, not hit them with your car and then laugh
that she flew over the windshield! I hope no one
ever does this to someone YOU love ahole cop!
Rest in peace Jaahnavi Kandula 🙏

Me being an Indian(19 yr old) understands how big of deal it is to go abroad and study, and that hardwork, opportunity taken away by a person who's responsibility is to protect, for which he is getting paid for, (he isn't doing social service for free of cost )it sunk's my heart and boils my blood at the same time after watching his college mocking and making fun of her death . I will never see America in the same light .this mock will always be in my mind when i think of U S

Thank you, as the community is very humble and behaved and would never riot, but type of stuff that deserves protests. She was the only child of a single mom when her father passed, she worked really hard to educate her even with the currency exchange and was going to graduate with her masters in December. On top of the grief, imagine the slap on her family’s face hearing their words or actions, they had high hopes.

No publicly elected or funded individual in America is exempt from our laws !
This arrogant officer is one of few whose position clearly should be revoked immediately !
Condolences to the family of this young lady .

And, today you now have an international incident, as this story and videos of the cops being inhuman and racist are being shown on News across India. Nice work, SPD.

She will be awarded her degree posthumously, said Northeastern University where she was studying. The development has come after release of police footage in which a police officer can be heard laughing about her death and saying that her life had "little value". Jaahnavi was due to get her masters degree in Information Systems this December.

Imagine the best job youre able to obtain is being a police officer because you lack the brain capacity to finish college and do something better with your life and then calling someone studying for a masters degree worthless.
