Hi Adriene just wanted to say thank you so much for creating this video. I have suffered with chronic migraines for years and have recently decided to come off my medication in favour of mindfulness practice. Your videos have me cope so much better with the migraines. I tried this particular video for the first time tonight and my symptoms have drastically reduced. Thank you x

At this point, whenever I feel something ain't right - I think about yoga. I put in the search field "yoga" and add some issue - every single time you have a video for it. Needless to say, every single time it helps me. Worked when I felt so low (depression practise), helped with overeating, helped with back pain and now this blessing! You're a wonder.

when you said "thank you for trusting me." I literally started weeping. I just moved into a dorm last week and I'm alone for the first time. I'm excited, and scared, and overwhelmed. I woke up this morning with a throbbing headache, but knew I had to still practice yoga. I feel a lot better now. Thank you.

Firstly, it's really touching that you said "so sorry you have a headache". Its a much nicer way to approach a yoga flow than the "do this and you'll feel better" type vids that other produce. I've had a migraine for a couple days, usually I'll sleep it off by now and wake up with a weird and unpleasant lightheadedness but well enough to work etc. But on day two I decided to try this and it has really helped me, Thank you. Peace to all

Ive had severe chronic migraines for 8 years and 2023 has been my most excruciating year. I began to feel like i'd never be able to continue living this way, but small mindfulness yoga practices like this really really help. It's so difficult explaining chronic pain to someone but through your video and your actions I felt seen. Thank you.

This is not yoga, this is magic! Another years-long migrainer, tried everything and nothing worked, I was feeling so hopeless and helpless. So I decided to try this thinking, well, it couldn’t hurt. And it works. You cannot imagine how grateful and happy I am. I also do your beginner videos twice a day. You get that it is the whole body that needs help, in your kind and gentle manner. I even got my sister and neighbor to join the Adriene fan club. And my cat. He always waits till the very end and comes and lies on my stomach and says good job, Mom. Thank you so much. I look forward to when I can try some of your more challenging videos. Some day...

One can only lay in the dark so long with a migraine. Thank you for providing a peaceful, gently active option for me! Will certainly be pinning this video for next time.

😍 Benji almost lifted my headache by just being there, gorgeous. You are even talking in a low soft voice for all us headachers how thoughtful. Saving this one to my headache folder. Thank you.

This is one of favourite self care videos. When I have a migraine, I feel hopeless and sad too. Everything seems too overwhelming . This yoga session helps me so much, not only physically, but emotionally as well. Thank you!

Thank you so much for this video! I started off crying because no one has ever tried to help me this much with my own pain. Cheers for everyone suffering with any kind of illness. Here it is to our health! ❤

Thank you Adrienne. I'd rather try your yoga practices over medication if I can. You always seem to have a certain yoga to help me at a certain time. Allison

I didn't have a migraine when I did this, just needed some self care while going through a tough time. Having a minor physical issue right now, and this was really helpful in getting me through it, as I believe our minds definitely have the power to heal. I guess what I'm trying to say is this could be a good yoga practice for chronic illness, depression, whatever you're going through at the time. Thanks for another beautifully healing practice, Adriene 💕

I’ve been suffering from more headaches and migraines than ever in the past year. I actually discovered your channel from finding this particular video. I return to this video periodically when I do have a migraine, and I am often brought to tears by the end of it because the improvement is so significant, and I am so grateful for the relief. You are an angel, Adriene!

In December I started having a headache that didn't go away. The pain has been day and night for 9 months now. Sometimes it is managable, sometimes it spins way out of control and I am incapacitated. Today was one of those days. This video brought me back under control and made it managable again. I have been searching for answers to why, with little help from all the tests and specialists. Until I find out the root cause I will use the skills you have taught me to keep the pain from spiraling out of control. Your skill, kindness, compassion and gentle encouragement are a true gift. Thank you so much!

Hi, Adrienne. You are Heaven sent. I have done yoga since I was 5 or 6. Now that I have migraines and multiple autoimmune disorders, it is a life saver. There are time that pain medication is not enough, and ONLY yoga helps me through. Your Yoga for Migraines is particularly helpful. I never considered adding essential oils to my practice. Thank you doesn’t seem to cover my gratitude. Bless you, and many thanks.

Adriene, My deepest gratitude for your multitude of target areas you have a yoga practice for!!! You are quite something! You are a powerhouse, a motivator, a doer, a thinker, and super sweet guide (and my personal guru!), and a very dynamic practitioner! I am super impressed by the magnitude of pains, discomforts, chronic illnesses, diseases, and other things you address. I have been a migraineur (so we are called, us sufferers of migraines) since I was around 10 years old. I am now 47, and though the incidents of migraines have tapered down and become less severe than they have been, I still get them for a ploethera of reasons, including weather - pressure changes -, foods, moods, stress, before an illness like a cold or flu set in, etc. I am ever looking for alternate ways to take care of my head than using drugs my doctor has prescribed. Happy to have another way to address a migraine through this practice. Thank you for this! I have participated in your 30-days of yoga series, your Yoga Camp series, and am now doing your TRUE series. You have totally changed my life, my idea of yoga and what yoga is, and my ability to follow through, and for all this, I am grateful and deeply honoured.
