Really good to hear Mona Seif speak about her brother, Allaa Abd El-Fattah as she continues a sit-in outside the UK Foreign Office in the hope that the UK Government will take action to get her brother freed from prison in Egypt where he has been held unjustly because of his democracy activism on for most of the last eight years.
I really hope Alaa does not escalate his hunger strike, putting his life in serious danger.
Please have patience, Alaa, and maintain your strong hope that justice will prevail and you will ve free soon!
Best wishes to you and your son, your sister Mona and all your familyl
Best wishes -

He was involved in the Egyptian Revolution against Hosni Mubarak, believing that the West would aid him in his effort. Now after Hosni Mubarak was ousted and died in prison, he's now on a hunger strike as a protest against the West for neglecting him.

I don't know, man. That sounds like a poetic justice to me.
