The family of a prominent British-Egyptian pro-democracy activist, who has been on hunger strike in jail for more than 100 days, are growing increasingly concerned for him.

Alaa Abdel Fattah is one of the most high profile government critics imprisoned in Egypt on what human rights groups say are politically-motivated charges.

He gained British citizenship in April and politicians and celebrities in the UK have come out in support of his release.

Since this video was filmed, it has been reported that his name has been passed to the Egyptian authorities to be considered for a Presidential pardon. However none has been issued so far.

If he’s taken up a British citizenship, what was he doing meddling in a country he decided to renounce & adopt another country. I bet the British foreign office will be blamed for not getting him released & brought back to the UK & given compensation...and...oh.... he is an “AID WORKER”

He went to the UK for whatever reason. If he wanted to riot or protest in Egypt then go live there and do it. There’s no way the UK will help him when he should’ve been staying and being a productive citizen, especially now with the huge refugee problems. He knew the risks and now he’s in prison.

They jailed a youtuber last week called Hesham Almasri after a debate with sheikh from al-Azhar called Ahmed krima, that lasted only 10 min and stopped after sheikh stared insulting Hesham and threatening him and the channel debates owner with jail and assassination. We still have no information about Hesham to this day.

nothing to do with the UK as he is a dual national he counts as an Egyptian Citizen when in Egypt. The Home Office states that they cannot help dual nationals in the country of their other nationality

Alaa Abd el-Fattah family says activist still on hunger strike, denies Egypt report

The British-Egyptian's family denies claims by National Council for Human Rights that he has been receiving food and his health is stable

Imprisoned Egyptian-British political prisoner Alaa Abd el-Fattah is still on hunger strike, his family has said, denouncing claims to the contrary by a government-appointed human rights council.

A delegation from the National Council for Human Rights on Monday visited the Wadi el-Natrun prison where Abd el-Fattah is being detained, and said it had reviewed the medical reports of a number of prisoners, including the activist’s file.

The NCHR claimed that Abd el-Fattah’s report “indicates that his health is stable and vital signs are normal. He has received all the nutritional supplements allocated to him by the prison, in addition to receiving food and drinks provided by his family almost on a weekly basis.

Dear Rishi Sunak..
😭😭😭
If you are a PRIME to there in England tomorrow that would be because of a political democracy of UK people .
Mercy of God.
But I don't want you be there or even as MP .😁😁😁
God bless you.
Once I stopped the marriage of a my sister after all betrothal or engagement was over on the grounds of alcohol or drugs ( Panparach )very common in North India.( The bridegroom was a drunkard )
But my sister was already 27 years old then .
She feared that she would remain a bachelor if that proposal was cancelled.
So after my dad with his other son in laws stopped my plan and conducted the marriage.
This is called family democracy.
Blood speaks a lot .
Today india 🙏 lives Because of UK.( Lot of jobs, railways, big democracy or bug county bread and butter etc)
You are there in England as a refugee.
Even today this night they could replace someone else in your place .But
UK is a great democray.
I can excersise lot of powers over them .
I have chances or
I suspect you as a intruder in to England by some patriotic groups behind you or from a country behind you.
It is not difficult for me stop you there even today this moment.
But I don't want .
But I can't .
BECAUSE we CHRISTIANS believe brotherhood.
Committee.
So I can't stop you
Nor BORIS johnson.
It is party .
It is conservative party .
If I were there as a pastor I would help them with their spiritual welfares.
As long as you are not a pastor or a king so long you can not shake their faith.
I don't know what is the responsibility of a prime minister of England to the people of England.
But I am talking about the responsibility of their future and their spiritual welfares.
1 Timothy 1;-4
WhyNeither give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister questions, rather than godly edifying which is in faith: so do.
In some countries they adore their old kings and rulers .
In some countries like France and Russia they even pulled down the status of their old political leaders .
But UK is different.
Tomorrow you will know it .
History will tell you the mercy of UK people to jobless orphans like to uk from india through Kenya.
🙏🙏🙏🙏 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
