Very useful and saved me a great deal of time in getting the doors aligned. This information should be provided in the instruction guide and in the primary video coving assembly of the shed.

The right door on my shed is also high and doesn't close like many others. Would not have bought if I knew this defect existed

I bought the 8x15 shed. The gable assembly above the doors was poorly constructed at the manufacturer. I have no intention of leaving any wood under this shed to level these doors. I made Avery level paver pad under the shed floor only to find a poorly made door frame area. I paid a lot of money for this shed.

My doors seem to overlap just a slight bit, a couple centimeters, who do I get a hold of to fix that?
I also have a video of it if you like

Does the big shim under the back corner compromise the integrity of the floor?

1. Is there a difference between adding a shim to the rear corner of the shed, as opposed to raising the entire wooden foundation from the rear corner and shimming it under the foundation?
2. If I only shim the corner of the shed, but not the foundation, wouldn't the plastic floor of the shed be lifted off the actual platform of wooden foundation?

I have the 8x12.5ft version of this shed. Like a lot of people, my right door is too high. Shim under left door hinge is not enough, so I put a piece of wood under the right/back corner of the shed. It fix the door aligment problem, but the floor on the right/back side is not flat anymore. I can't think of putting anything like a snowblower/mower on this soft floor without support, so the usable space is now 6x10ft. I don't even want to walk on this corner of the floor in fear of cracking the plastic floor. Everything else is nice, but this is a real bummer.

What is considered “ a big gap”. How tall of a block of wood?

What if the right door it too high? My is a about 1/4 too high which hits the top and won't close unless I push really hard .. any idea?

My right door huts at the top and i have to really work to get it closed. I won't be putting shims under the corner (beside the fact the i dont think i could even if I tried) i can't imagine that doesnt compromise the floor having it raised up even a fraction of an inch.
I plan on attacking either the metal edge plate at the top of the door or the actual arch where the door is hitting. So annoying

Would these not rot, due to the elements?

Do you leave the piece of wood under that rear corner? I would hope not.
