How to align Lifetime Shed doors

Aligning the Lifetime Shed doors using composite shims. The alignment was so far off I had to use a prybar to lift the rear of the shed on the same side as the high door while my wife let me know when the doors lined up. I had to use 4 or 5 composite shims that I bought from Lowes. I didn't really want to use wood as it would eventually rot and the doors would sag again.

Thank you! Worked perfectly on our 60336. I would have NEVER thought to shim the rear of the shed. Full disclosure...I thought you were out of your mind. I was exasperated as I told my wife "There's no way that will work but I'll give it a shot." I'm glad I did. Thanks again.

This video might be exactly what I'm looking for. I have nmbeen putting the shed together all day, everything was going smooth, finished the roof, then I tried to close the doors and SOB!! I was upset/angry for a moment until I googled this issue and found your video. Regardless, if it works, it shows me that I am not alone AND gives me hope of when I go back out there tonight to finish the job. Fingers CROSSED!!

Great Video saved me so much time I was going crazy trying to figure out how to align it. Only difference I shimmed under the frame the shed sits on and it worked perfectly just like you showed. My shed was almost a full inch off too. Thanks so much

Ya I got one where the doors line up fine but the latch hits the left door so I figure I’m gonna have to reem it out slightly with a dremel until it shuts better. I mean it’s just horrible

I know this is 6 years old, but this fixed my shed after I just let it be messed up for 2 years.

This really does help. I've been trying to figure where to put my plastic (composite, just like yours) shims to get booth doors to come down now that it's been four years and the wood shims have disintegrated, and there has been a lot of settling. I will try around the back, but I have the shed full, so I hope it works. Thanks again for the help.

Same problem. May or may not work for me but I'm glad you made this video. There is hope.

Thank you! We had the same problem and we were trying to shim the right front to no avail. When we shimmed the right back corner it fixed it!

I ran into the same exact issue on a 60305 she'd. I have the doors aligned now, but I still have to remove the strike plate from the left door in order to close the doors.

HI there, great video - did you put anything at the back of the shed where its much higher than the foundation? Mine is the same and worried i'll put my foot through the floor where its not level.

Nice job, but seems the weight of the shed contents will warp the floor if shims don't reach the sides and weight bearing wall. Results?

Would have been helpful if you had pointed to the shims as most of your video in the back was under the base the shed was sitting on. And, did you put two sims on top of the first two, or how did you do that. Otherwise, thank you for the video as we have the same problem.

Hey I got the doors alighted but I'm having an issue with the lock area being too tight, how can I fix that I tried loosening them and refitting as far apart so they wouldn't hit while closing but it's still too tight in that area

My right door is booting the bottom and left one is barley hitting. Where would it be a good place to start
