Breakfast indeed is the most important meal of the day. I have it at 2 PM. 😉🙃
Who said you got to "break fast" early in the morning? 🤔

I’m a Muslim. And I love Ramadan. Fasting 17/18 hours each day during Ramadan month. Everyone thinks we struggle but really and truly we enjoy it so much. By the end of it we are so energetic and healthy(if you have a good diet).

Hi Dr. Maggs,
As an insulin depandant diabetic, I have been gently nudged into these principles.
I have been prescribed a taster regime of weekly gym sessions by my GP. Now I am getting a liking for regular excercise and have added daily walking. My weight has dropped by 5kg(12lbs)from 90kg to 85kg in 6 months. I am now encouraging my whole family to join the local gym on a family membership !
WFH has reduced the stress levels associated with a long commute to work.
This has freed up time for a more regular pattern of sleep.
I have also significantly increased my fibre and veg consumption and reduced carbohydrates.
I can attest to all your principles.
Thank you for outlining them so clearly.
They can all be achieved slowly without any pain or difficulty.
Good luck to anyone embarking on this expeditionary journey of health discovery. You will reach your personal summit and be able to look back on a job well done. Ultimately you will congratulate yourself.
Thanks for a great video.
Best of luck to everyone.

You gave me an AH HA moment! So basically every time I inject insulin I’m sending glucose into my fat cells. So I need to reduce my need for insulin. And I didn’t realize there was zero need for carbs. This info is literally changing my life. BIG THANKS!

I'm 66 years old and overweight. I started a 20/4 Fasting/eating cycle. Prior to this I was tired all the time and had to nap a lot, but never felt well rested. After a few day on this 20/4 cycle, it was like a switch was thrown. Now I don't feel worn out all the time and I have energy again. For months the bottoms of my feet were tender and walking was very painful. Even after a few days, the pain is reduced and I can walk around without any real pain. I'm still only 5 days into this, but I wish I had known what I know now years ago.

I was diagnosed pre-diabetic. I decided to go to a low carb no fruit, no alcohol diet. I eat some vegetables but just the ones that I am supposed to eat. I hope this will help. I have been on this diet for three months and right away lost nine pounds. This diet and working out at the gym very hard have made me feel much better. Before going on this diet I didn't need to lose weight but I did right away. I am 68 years old and diabetes runs in my family!! Oh well thanks for the video DR. and stay healthy!!

Fasting is excellent. I am a Muslim and right now during the holy month of Ramadan, the Fasting period is 16.5 hours. No eating, No Drinking. Once Ramadan is over, I am going to try for the first time to observe Fasting for 18 to 20 hours. It does magic to your body and mind.
Good video though 👌

I hate breakfast. When I eat breakfast my energy level falls and I eat non stop the whole day.
