This is such a dumb question. SAF 13 PL titles, Pep, Wenger, Klopp and Mourinho combined PL titles is...13

The greatest Premier League manager in history has got to be Pep Guardiola. I say this as a Manchester United fan who reveres Sir Alex Ferguson. Objectively, Pep holds a lot of the major records among top managers: the best win percentage, most points in a season, most goals, longest winning streak, and the treble (one of only two managers to achieve that milestone). Despite these records, the most impressive aspect of Pep’s legacy is his philosophy's influence on other managers and English football as a whole.

Guardiola's football philosophy, as seen with Manchester City, has dominated the Premier League, winning the last four titles. The only team that has come close to challenging City is Arsenal, and they are essentially playing Pep's style. The last two winners of the EFL Championship, Burnley (under Kompany) and Leicester (under Maresca), are both led by managers who are disciples of Pep's philosophy. Arteta is thriving at Arsenal largely because of his experience under Pep, and the same goes for Maresca at Leicester/Chelsea and Kompany at Burnley/Bayern. Even Ten Hag, now at Manchester United, was part of Guardiola’s backroom staff at Bayern.

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, and it's clear that top clubs—Manchester City's rivals—are essentially saying, “If we can’t get Pep, we need to get the closest thing to him.” That’s a profound testament to his influence. His philosophy is not just winning; it’s reshaping English football. There has never been anything quite like this.

That’s why I believe he is the GOAT of managers. I love Sir Alex and mean no disrespect—there’s no shame in being the second-greatest manager of all time. But the way Pep has transformed football with his philosophy makes him the greatest.

I find it hilarious how Marcos Silva said "he ended the Sir Alex dominance".

You basically said he is the best without saying he is the best. He also dominated after that brief period Chelsea were on top.

Pep is the greatest for me because a manager who won the sextuple in his first season as a coach with 7 promoted academy players (🔸xavi 🔸iniesta 🔸busquets 🔸puyol 🔸pique 🔸 villa 🔸Messi) takes it how many coaches today trust even 2 academy players to start every game? and no it's not because he always manages well made teams ▶️otto reneghal winning the euros with Greece in 2004 with an underdog team don't make him better than Vicente who won euros with Spain in 2012
