Scholes was similar to Xavi and pirlo, gerrard was similar to viera and Keane and Lampard was a goal machine. I'm a United fan and would have loved too see gerrard play next to Scholes when Keane retired. Hated gerrard as he played for Liverpool but he was a giant of the game. All united fans know this.

And Gerrard was the better tackler & most complete player that could play more various roles in midfield.
