The numbers don't lie. Italian managers as a whole have been the most successful.

For the people talking about Fergie, Wenger and Jose, please use your brain. This is not about individuals, it's about nationalities. There are more Italian managers than any other nationality that have won the PL, that's a fact.

If successful managers are judged by the number of titles they win, then I have to say, Scottish managers are the most successful in the PL

Remember when I was younger at a youth level my coach was Italian always reminded us to defend from the front

Zola may have been a shit manager but what a humble guy he is. I really respect his attitude after having seen this

"8 different nationalities have won the Premier League, 50% of them are Italian"

Nationality does affect but there numerous factors like good players, coaching, finance, TIMING is one of the most undermentioned thingIt doesnt make sense one would argue but it is also a contributing factor.

And three out of those four Italian managers were sacked the following season.

Act if you think about it 5 of the 9 are Italians so thats a majority. Conte, Mancini, Ancelotti, Ranieri...and Pellegrini. Yes hes Chilean but hes got Italians origins. Whats interesting also is that Mourinho coached in Italy and won a treble too. His style is very Italian. They simply are Master Tacticians. Defense, Tactics wins you Titles.

Ancelotti just got sacked, how ironic

I don't see why many people here think Zola isn't in a good position to talk about good managers. He worked with many great ones. Sacchi is one.

Hate to say this but sir Alex will always be the greatest manager ever.

only 5 different nationalities have won the premier league, not 8... 0:14
3 of the italian managers managed at chelsea and city..endless resources
none of them managed to win it again...we'll see if conte lasts
Claudio is the most impressive..sacked the following season

Having said that, i still think seria a is the most advanced league in terms of tactics

Mbappe is miles ahead of Rashford, but they thought Scholes was better than Zidane. Who can blame them.

For me, Italian managers and dutch managers are the best in the world. I love Ancelotti, Ranieri, Conte, LVG, Rijkaard, Advocaat etc.

The best attacking is to have the best defending.
