Herbal Medicine: Histamine Intolerance and Allergies

Histamine intolerance is relatively common with chronic gut imbalances like SIBO, IBS and dysbiosis in general. In this video I wanted to outline some common herbs that can help to improve histamine intolerance, stabilise mast cells and reduce inflammation that can drive more histamine release in the body.

If you have a mild to moderate histamine intolerance which may present with common symptoms like a runny nose, sinus congestion, headaches above the eyes and even sore lymph nodes in the neck then check this video out.

If you are experiencing a more severe histamine intolerance or even mast cell activation syndrome then hang tight for another video coming soon on common extracts and nutrients that can help first as you may react to the herbs if you are extra sensitive.

When diet restriction is getting too overwhelming to be feasible, it's nice to know there are herbs we can fall back on for support

I was proscribed antihistamines and anti anxiety medications for my entire adult life. Things got progressively worse and I was diagnosed with Lupus SLE. Thankfully, I found you and fallowed your suggestions for anti SIBO herbs and my health has massively improved. I’m now self treating SIFO and feel better each day. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. My doctors don’t know what to say.

Due to recent events my inclination has been to investigate the use of natural medicines and your approach to histamine intolerance seems a new and exciting prospect. An incident that happened with a puppy of mine illustrates the difference between "current" and natural medicine. I took the pup to an old-timer vet who said he had a seed in his nail bed. Nowadays the paw may have been cut to extract the seed and pus. Then antibiotics and anti-inflammatory medicine would follow and the inevitable "cone of shame". This old boy had the perfect and inexpensive solution . Take a piece of gauze and place a quantity of oat bran on it and moisten with vinegar. Heat the poultice in the microwave to a temperature the pup can tolerate and apply poultice to paw, cover with cotton sock.
His method worked. Out came the seed and pus naturally. No knife, no antibiotics, no Elizabethan collar. You don't need a sledgehammer to crack a walnut - there is invariably an alternative route

MAST cell activation IS a SYMPTOM of CIRS or Chronic inflammatory response syndrome. It is a genetic issue and even all the OVERGROWTHS are both symptoms and triggers. Meaning exposure to the activates the HLA-DR gene which puts the body in a chronic state of inflammation and MAST cell activation, while it suits down the bodies ability to detox mold mycotoxins, plant food toxins, etc etc, allowing massive overgrowth of the exposed trigger. I got mine in complete remission, with 2 weeks on carnivore, with the exception of histamine intoler6, which was a direct result of my body finally being able to dump stored oxalates
It lasted about 4 mos but everything else was perfect. Then covid hit. The chronic exposure to the spike protein, which is a trigger for the gene, has created a new level which carnivore is not enough for. I used some of the herbs mentioned here for years before trying carnivore, with literally 0 results. I do wonder if combining them with carnivore and some spike protein specific remedies, will help with the current flare up.

All due respect to Ben Lynch, you explain this better than he does.

Just developed these symptoms in the last month or so. I originally thought it was mucus buildup from an improper diet but I eat healthy compared to most.
I rarely eat dairy, meat, or junk food.

I really enjoy your videos.

They are right on in my opinion, and I order many of the potent herbs you recommend.

I detest big business pharmaceuticals and much prefer natural ingredients.

I'm over 60 and am on Zero pharmaceuticals.

I believe I have Methane Sibo and am treating it with herbs you recommend, water fasting, intermediate fasting & diet

I was tested for SIBO and tested positive for two different things in that SIBO test. The Dr said it was incredibly expensive to treat and would take years and insurance would not cover any of it.... She just left me hanging, constantly sick to my stomach, exhausted, can't sleep more than a few hours off and on, sick when I eat, constipated, itchy skin, hair getting thinner and thinner, sinus infections, migrains every other day, , my nerves are always shot.... etc. etc... Thank you for this video. I pray I can find relief. I'm tired of having to not eat for three days if there is something I have to do in the morning on a particular day, or if I get to go fishing or something where I can't be by a bathroom, I can't eat for 3 days before so I'm not sick from laxatives or the food itself... Thank You very much! 🙏❤🙏

Hey, I’m listening to your videos while I recover from surgery - a great way to motivate myself to take my herbs. Love this discussion and graphic presentation on histamine intolerance, lots of hopeful options for the sensitive patient. Make more, Todd!

What do you do for salicylate intolerance leading to histamine issues?

My main symptom is extreme insomnia which is triggered by most of what I eat, drink and smell.
