My ex and I were finally communicating around Christmas into mid January until we had a little argument in a group chat. After which we stopped communicating and as a result I had to take a step back and disconnect myself from all social media for a week because I couldn't stop thinking about her and to focus on loving myself. Despite that I still think of her throughout my day, but I'm reluctant to reach out because of what she said which made me believe that she wants some space and I'm willing to respect that. Soon it'll be 2 months of NC and I look back at times thinking maybe I shouldn't have responded back the way I did, but perhaps she's thinking the same thing. Hopefully something happens in the future that will enable us to talk and interact once again. I know it's sometimes a bad thing to think too optimistically about an ex, but it's just a gut feeling idk how to explain it. I will say that despite having experienced lots of pain because of the breakup I'm finally loving myself for who I truly am and I'm grateful for that.

So one day where I live we got a lot of snow and on that day she asked me if I got to work safe. Is that her looking for reasons to text me

I was in no contact for a month. My granddaughter's first birthday was coming up and she had surgery on her wrist. I had to reach out to find out where the party was because my stepson had to change the venue.
I asked how her surgery went and everything went well and told her good. She asked if I was coming to the party and I told her yes that I had my work switch my day off so I could go. She said good. Told me where it was and told her I'd see her there and I that I hoped she wouldn't be in pain from her surgery too long and she said ok see you there.
Went to the party. Didn't really talk to her or pay attention to her while I was there. Went outside while helping clean up and she was outside. We spoke for a moment. I kept it just "as a friend". Didn't show intrest just had a conversation.
Went back inside. As I was about to leave she says, "Hey babe!" Told me to come back over. Explained that my 6 year old granddaughter would be up from Ga. on the 18th so I'd know she was coming. Told her ok and said goodbyes.
Does her calling me babe mean anything or was it just a force of habit thing? I went immediately back into no contact and it's been a couple days. Holding out until she contacts me.
P.S. I have been working on myself and made some amazing changes. Lost 30 lbs and working a great job now. Felt good to kinda ignore her while I was there. I caught her looking at me several times while I was there. As I was taking pictures and doing other things.

I think about my ex as well. Not because I want to be with her I let her go due to her not wanting to be with me, and I want someone that actually likes me. I’m just human you twit, and have emotions. Just need to recognize what’s more important losing time with someone that has moved on or use that time to improve yourself as a person and learn what you did to cause whatever. People are unpredictable and don’t even know what they want until it’s gone or notice they are in a shit situation until they are out. Usually an ex is mad at you because they still have feelings, but having sex with other people. It’s just the need to fuck as much as needed. Lol simple.

Was married for 16 years we have 5 children, been separated since July she served me divorce papers on Valentine’s Day. She said she isn’t going to turn in the papers to the court yet she wants to seek counseling to see if she can look at me any differently and if she can get over how bad I hurt her. She had an affair with my sons teacher back in July, I caught her so she kicked me out and since then she’s blamed the break up on me. Since January she barley contacts me at all, probably once a week and it’s only if she wants something. What can I do?

It happened several times already and i wonder if i should ask him directly.. through our last exchange around almost 2 weeks ago he has been warm and touched by me reaching out to him upon entering another confinement phase in his country.. it has always been me reaching out to him though asking for his help and other stuffs..
