Hi Evgeny and Alexander - thank you for another great video. Yes the dryland exercises are really good and I have improved lots especially in my arm recovery since doing them . I need to add the rocking exercises - i will try but found it difficult. Lots of great advice in this video esp getting the head in first not having a pause before breathing. Your series is the best butterfly on YouTube the web. Also happy Christmas to all your team

Any advice how not to get water inhaled when breathing, I have this problem only with butterfly, with freestyle even big waves do not matter, but swimming butterfly, sometimes I inhale splashed water, possible because of faster breath, not sure, what I am doing wrong there.

I like to breath on every stroke. Doing the butterfly stroke requires so much muscle energy that I like to get as much oxygen as possible. I am over 50. I can't hold my breath like the young twenty somethings.

Firstly, very good and informative video. Thank you very much. Looking forward to such in depth videos for the other 3 strokes, starts and turns.

You mentioned at 6:48 that a breath is taken while returning the hands forward. However, shouldn't a breath be taken at the end of the pull? This also seems like what the swimmer is doing when the video is played in slow motion.

Very good - however it would be better if the video could be paused as the parts of the body under discussion are shown in detail,

This isn't bad...I posted a rant video on my channel (which isn't popular) lol but if there's one thing I know, it's teaching. And since I'm a swimming teacher I know what I'm talking about.

This is the closest I've seen that someone actually has a clue so well done!

I'm convinced most of the butterfly drills are completely useless.
