This is an awesome exercise, I feel it way more in my hamstrings than rdl. Just don't forget to say good morning after every rep.

One of my favourite exercises. Amazing how many people in the gym stare at me as if I'm mad and then proclaim that good-mornings are "really dangerous the case if you observe strict correct form. You will sure know about it if the bar slips up the neck and you are left with a bruised neck, so low bar is a must! The stretch you get when hingeing properly with good form is one of those immediately satisfying stretches and nicely tender hamstrings and glutes the following morning.

I've never seen this done with the barbell on the back. I've only ever seen dumbbells used. So, I appreciate the effort in portraying the proper form!

What about head positioning? Isnt Sal in a bit of a cervical hypertension?

I did these for the first time without any tips and I felt more hamstring activation in the warm up sets then the working sets. I knew my form was way off but couldnt figure out why. definitely going to drop the weight and focus on form on this. big help!!!

1:25 - Note Taken: do not perform good mornings using a high bar squat position, and rather do them on a low bar squat position where the bar is rested on the rear delts.
I also like to think of this as simply performing an RDL with the weight on my back instead of being held by my arms.
