Another main key for me with RDLs as well, is remembering to drive those hip back too, and only drive back up once you feel a stretch in your hamstrings. You don’t have to go all the way down, that may cause you to injure your back or cause your low back to get tight. Everyone’s range of motion is different, just find yours and remember stick to it. I also use dumbbells personally with the same technique, and it works better for me. And also don’t look down, look straight ahead, that will help you like an indicator to keep you focused on keeping your back straight and core tight.

This channel has taught me that bracing will help me walk with a strait back at this point 😂. FR tho it’s underrated I forget sometimes lol

I LOVED this! I have always been afraid of deadlifts that I'll strain something. This makes it fairly foolproof. More stuff like this please

When you are about to get punch in the stomach, you breath out as quickly as possible. That’s 30 years of fighting experience.

One exercise that helped me was using a straight bar on the cable machine and doing my RDLS that way! Never felt a better stretch in my glutes and hamstrings.

"Stick your chest and ass out"
That is prolly the best advice I've ever received about doing RDLs.

I'll try this, thank you. RDL always hurt my lower back 😪

can you do a video explaining the difference between an rdl and a regular deadlift? thanks! ❤

Thank you for this. I always though I was doing it correctly because i had no pain, and i would recover quickly from soreness. but two weeks ago i couldn't even sit or stand up from the lower back pain, it was like getting jolts of electricity. I have a long term goal of dead lifting 600lbs and I'm doing it it all on my own because I don't have anyone to coach me, so I've been relying on this channel for tips.

This is a good glutes workout, but setting up barbel takes a lot of time to load and unload, so using heavy dumbles is ideal and u can feel it more in your glutes, the key is not to bend the knees too much and focous on glutes when coming up
