60 FPS vs 30 FPS Gaming Smoothness Comparison

If you put the speed at 0.25 or 0.5 the difference is clearer.

30fps doesn't look this bad if there's motion blur to hide it. Can you post a comparison w/ motion blur?

honestly, I can only notice the difference when I set the video speed to 0.5, or 0.25, at normal speed I cant tell them apart except for the slight couple of milliseconds delay on the 30fps side

guys if u cant see the difference that means your watching the video at 144p or 240p or 360p or 480p but u need to watch it at 720p or 1080p to see the difference

You know, sometimes I actually prefer 30fps in some games. It gives it more of that movie feel that I've grown up with from the 80s and 90s. Don't get me wrong, I run 60fps for almost everything, but 30 kind of gives that nostalgic cinema feel with some games.

30 faps per second is great when you are watching 60fps.

for those who don't see any difference:

1. set the video quality to 60 fps.
2. while watching, look at the middle of the screen. this way you see the difference much more clearly.
3. at the latest at the section that starts at 0:21, the difference becomes pretty obvious.

Honestly, this isn't very obvious in video form but, while playing a game, I can definitely notice the difference in between 45fps and 60fps.

To be fair with the 30 FPS, it had alot of studdering which isn't because of the framerate but because of the GPU not being able to dish out the data to the screen in a costant stream.
