Strangely enough, if I'm playing a racing game or running in third person, I feel like 30fps gives the impression of going faster compared to 60. Probably because there's not as much for the brain to process. However, in first person shooters, 30fps can be confusing and disorienting. Some say that it makes them nauseous, but not for me. I do have to admit that 120fps is by far much better in every game. In some scenarios, higher frame rate gives a better sense of depth. Most importantly, it isn't so much about the frame rate that is being displayed, but rather the maximum frame rate that the graphics card is able to push in that game. If you are gaming at 60fps, but the GPU can push out even 90fps on your settings with frame lock and V-sync off, you might as well drop/reduce settings to where it is able to run it to at least 120. Otherwise, you are introducing higher throughput latency, giving a more laggy experience. Always go for at least half the capable frame rate to play.

I think 30 FPS is good enough for single-player games. 60 FPS is like a bonus feature that isn't 100% required to make a great game.

Generally movies and stuff are fine with 30 fps, as are most videos, but try using your PC with a 30 fps monitor, and it is HORRIDLY SLUGGISH

when you make the video 2x it becomes 120 fps NOTE: the screen refresh rate must be 120hz otherwise only the video speed will increase.

Hello friend, I have a 144hz monitor, it is of no use to me if the games, including shooter or others, do not exceed 144fps or oscinal. Personally, I do not like the fps oscillating and I have decided to play all games at 30 fps in general on PC. But how could I see that it looks fluid since some games do not have motion blur.

You just simple locked it at 30 FPS or what else you did, your 30 FPS is smooth, I immediately notice 30 or 60 FPS, but until you showed 60 FPS, I don’t noticed it

can you make next comparison between 60 and 144. 30/60 difference is clearly visible. about 60/144 im not sure anymore. 60 seems good enough for at least single player games and if needed a locked 30 is also layable. fluctuating 30 is unbearable.
