I do pushups with feet on a chair, and hands on two cider blocks to get full range of motions, touching my nose on the floor (with a towel). Good stretch too.

Ego is the biggest enemy of push ups. Once I started doing proper push ups, 12-20 reps was making me cry. That was humbling after doing 100 "push ups"

My chest took off with weighted pushups and you can work up to some pretty heavy weight as well. Good video

Thank you so much for this. I was doing wide arm push-ups for pecs and had no end of verbal from the military guys who were telling me it absolutely HAD to be close grip! Nothing wrong with either type as long as you do the rest of it right. :)

Weighted push ups using a backpack to hold weight is a godsend for home training.

Love pushups. I only train at home so pushups are a big exercise for me. Weighted pushups are great. They are awesome abb strength exercises to.
